Peck watched as the younger lioness bolted. Not minutes passed before the herd scattered and many became one. A light growl rose in her throat before she launched herself down the slope. Her tail whipped behind her, each claw peirced the ground in their own turn. Samira raced before her at her own speed, Peculiar would let her get there first. Peck had made her kill today, one of the others could have this one. Peculiar split into the grasses. Her paws took their own path as she made an easy semi circle.

Salem had her teeth in the horned beast she would make sure samira got the kill as she didnt wanna take the credit from the amazing lioness salem dug her claws deeper into the ground almost immobilizing it but it bucked and got salem in the ribs but she help on a small tear sliding down her face but she didnt care about the pain "COME ON" she roared her teeth still clenched into it's back

Sochi made it back to the tree as he set down the rabbit and grabbed the cub and set her next to the carcass. Sochi ripped into its unders and began chewing it into mush. After he felt it was soft enough he placed the now mushed up food down next to the cub.

Hana Sniffed the mushed up meat and mewed but she started eating some and purred in happiness as she didnt mind the taste. She ate all the mushed up meat she was given.

He chuckled as the cub ate. He knew she was needing a name so he thought about it and said "Hanagasumi is your name. Hana for short." He smiled as he saw the cub finish up. He picked her up and carried her back to the den.

Samira panicked as she watched the young lioness take a hit. She wasn’t sure way but rage over took her and she sprinted on, reaching the slowed buffalo she lept at the beasts throat. She has mis judged and landed on the beasts back. Snarling Samira held on his claws and teeth. One mistake could lead in disaster. Samira gave salem a look, trying to let her know that she had done great! And as the beast bucked, Samira felt her instincts kick in. “Let go if you need to!” Samira roared through the hide clenched in her teeth. The beast managed to stumble on, however it was beginning to slow. His cries turned rage to pain, and from pain to a desperate cry of help. Samiras better judgment began to slip as flashes of a previous hunt came into her mind. And before she knew it, her teeth were around the buffalos neck. She bit down, tasting iron in her mouth. The beast continues to stumble on.

Salem dug her claws in she smiled through her clenched teeth she didnt plan on letting go she slid her claws into the the buffalos skin her ribs where burning but she hadn't cared"i got this" she cried through clenched jaws

Peck had slid in right after Samira. Carefully did she slip under the beast twisting to slid her claws along the rough chest. As soon as the last buck seized her teeth gripped a hind leg throwing her weight against the buffalo. This pinned the leg to the ground her teeth immobilizing the limb. She could tell Salem was loosing strength but with Samira's action the buffalo had lost more. With each new jerk the beast lost itself into the darkness. They would be bringing home this creature, and it's loss would not be in vain.

Samira closer her eyes as the pulsing vein between her teeth slowed more and more and the beast ceased his cries and accepted its fate. She waited until it layed down and she released her grip. Standing she stoped to gaze into the eyes of the stilled beast. Thanking it for its life and promising that its body wouldn’t be waisted. Once the animal closed its eyes she ensured that he had past. Quietly she walked over to Salem to make sure she was ok.

Salem could feel herself slipping into darkness her grip was failing but she wasnt letting go until this damned beast was down her vision was going blurry she was going to be forced to let go soon"lets get this thing down I dont know how much longer I can stay awake" she knew she would lose consciousness soon but she would hold on no matter what even after it went down she was still holding on she just lay there panting

Star was nuzzling Rider as the two lay in a tree. Stars tail tip tangled with Rider's the two hybrids smiled happily together. Getting up star moved toward the base of the tree and jumped down soon followed by her mate. " Let's go for a walk dear" She purred softly and nuzzled him.



Galaxy Sat still as she had half her body turned. She was cleaning her back before she decided she was done and stopped.

Sochi placed Hana down onto the nesting he calls his bed. Then he lays right next to her, curling himself into him so she can keep warm and fall asleep.

Salem released as she felt her self drift off as she lay on top of the dead beast unconscious she had no idea but she had a broken rib or two she would survive it but she would lay there her pride would have to carry her back it wouldnt be hard but they would have to travel slowly because of her ribs

Hana started to stir in her sleep as her body twitches from fright as she is dreaming of her mother walking away over and over again. She was in a loop inside her dream, seeing her mothers face right before she turned around and how her mother just ran off leaving her to die as she cannot care for herself since she was only a cub, still needing to be weaned and she couldnt walk that good due to her mutation

Sochi woke up to the sudden movements the cub was making, he looked at her and sighed. He gently nudged the cub to wake her up. He didnt know what she was dreaming of but to the look of it she was having a nightmare. Once he saw the cub who cant talk yet wake up he stood with a stretch and yawned as his large canines showed, he gently picked up the cub and decided to take her on a night stroll, even though she cant walk nor can ride on his back yet. He was hoping taking her outside to get fresh air would clear the young cubs mind from the nightmare.

Xanthe gave a low growl as a bug flew around his ear. Pesky flies,always invading his sleeping area. Why HIM? Out of all lions,HE had to get bothered? The fly flew aroundkthen went into his ear. "AHHHHHH!" Xanthe screamed. He fell off the rocks he was sleeping on,pawing at his ear.
