Shifting SpiritsNot a Shifter yet? Join here before posting on this thread!A warm mist surrounds your body, masking the scents of the forest. You feel cold, despite the beaming morning sun. Suddenly, a crackle of leaves sounds behind you and you whirl around to see a...... a tribe of humans staring expectantly at you. "Welcome to the Forest of Shifting Spirits." The voice seems to be all around you as if the whole forest is speaking but yet it just comes from one of the humans before you. "You are one of us. Your spirit longs to be one of the Others. An animal lives deep inside of you and it urges to be set free." All you can do is stare in bewilderment as the humans in front of you start to change. A voice speaks in your mind, "We are one." This time however, the voice seems oddly familiar yet you've never heard it before. With a shudder you realise that this is what they were talking about. Your spirit is more that you ever imagined. (Original Rp idea by RainWatcher (#40211)  This is the Star Stones. Where the Shifters gather to share their newfound spells, talk or just hang out. The way to get here is by following the Lake Path to its end and you will come across the Star Stones. This is where all "Tribe" meetings are held.  The Lake Path where most Shifters often like to swim. This is the main route to the Star Stones and the Forest Village where the Shifters live. There are many different types of fish living in this lake and some Shifters even like to hunt in their animals forms in the lake.  These are the houses in which the Shifters live, commonly referred to as the "Forest Village." Each Shifter lives in their own house but more often Trainee Shifters will live with their Teachers. All the houses are connected by rope bridges and there are stairs and ladders leading up to each of them. Rules:~No perfect characters, godmodding or power playing. ~Lioden Rules apply. ~Please keep swearing to a minimum. ~3+ sentences. Please be literate. If you don't speak fluent english please don't join. ~Do not kill, seriously injure or hurt another character without their owners permission. ~Feel free to cause drama but don't do it all the time. ~Every Shifter studies an element of magic but the White Magic Shifters specialise in lots of different types of magic and shifting. (Your shifter must know some sort of magic but doesn't have to ever have any involvement in it if that is what you wish.) ~Only past tense writing please. 1st Person or 3rd person are ok. ~Check to see what animals are already taken. Only one type of a certain animal. No double ups! ~Fade to black only if mating, birthing is ok. ~Be nice to everyone! ~Shifters have only ONE animal form so choose wisely. You can't change it! ~Put your favourite number in Other if you've read the rules. ~Trainee Shifters are Shifters that have not yet discovered their animal form. Once they can shift as they please they will move to their own house and begin to study magic. ~When Posting please put at least "Name|Gender|Species|Rank." It just makes it easier to follow. You may add more detail if you wish. (Any more suggestions? Feel free to say them!) And odd, fox looking creature swam next to his floating body. "Jesus Christmas, you scared all the fish from me!" He barked madly. "How do you know my name? I don't recall every seeing you." Seeing a Leopard, she smiled, leaning down as she dipped her head. Wynter unraveled her fingers, setting them upon the feline's head and petting her lightly. Slowly, she transformed into her wolf, cocking her head. "Who might you be?" She asked, eyes focusing on the feline body she beheld. "What a beautiful creature you are!" Leigha Valkens|22|Female|Swan|Full Shifter Leigha watched as more and more shifters entereed the pool. Her eyes got big. Out of fear, she clumsy ran across the water to left her heavy body out of the water and into the air. She flapped her white wings awkwardly until she was airborn. Leigha flew above the lake and looked at the shifters that had taken over. Maybe there's a different, smaller body of water I can have to myself. The swan wished she had gotten to talk to Vic more, as he seemed nice enough to gain her aquantince, but it was too late. She soured above the trees until her wings grew tired and she landed, fortunately near a small pond with lilypads. Perfect. 0 players like this post! Like? |

It was hard for Feliks to find someone he got along well with and there were few people within the tribe he somewhat got along with. Being different and unable to shift yet made him feel just a little excluded. While others were learning magic and roaming about in their animal forms, Feliks was stuck as a normal human. He told himself he shouldn't worry too much and he'll find out his animal sooner or later. He just didn't want to grow older without knowing. Crevan L'Amour = 23 = Male = Racoon = Trainee Shifter ((Sorry Sunrise, I got back home a lot later than I thought I would!)) When Crevan had reached the town with Arya, he soon lost her in the crowds. He moved along his usual path picking up gossip and news from the locals that could stand his pestering. It was nice to see familiar faces, the place he grew up was too enormous and overly populated to really get to know anyone, everything was always moving rapidly. Not that he didn't miss old friends he had managed to make, but that was a part of his life that had concluded now and he was determined to be a better 'more magical' person. Coming back onto the main road, Crevan heading down to the end and entered the magic shop hoping to find Arya again, he had checked the pastry shop, but had spend quite a bit of time running around town and must of missed her. Yawning, he scratched his head and turned to her, grabbing his shirt and headphones, slipping them on. He turned up his iPod, but low enough so he could hear her voice through the speaker. "Hey." He smiled, pointing at a tourist with her wallet sticking from her pocket. "You know how to pick pocket? I could show you." He said, flipping his hair and casually following the lady, expecting Electra to follow. Ryan Ross l l Male Full Shifter l l Amur Leopard l l Talking With Vic Fuentes After eating the stolen goods, he shifted back into his leopard, leaping from the ropes and into a tree, jumping right in the middle of the tourist path, seeing Vic. He roared lightly, coming up and unsheathing his claws, gripping onto his jeans and making his way up his shirt and resting on his shoulder. For his age, he was surprisingly small. He purred, rubbing his head on Vic's cheek. "Pick pocketing again, eh?" He meowed, glancing back at the girl behind him. "Yeah, I think I'm going to show her how." Vic smiled, raising a hand and petting Ryan's soft head. "Hey!" He meowed back to the girl. He winced lightly as Vic slapped him. "I don't need to you getting into my business, cat." "Otter." Ryan grumbled, thinking of nothing else to respond with. I snap at the shopkeeper. "Well, its good to see you too, Arya. But wait, didn't a young man buy that one?" His face was confused as he held up a hand, pointing at it. "Yeah, about that.. He kinda gave it to." I smile, hoping he would believe as this wasn't the first time. I turn to see Crevan looking at some scrolls. I wave my hand towards him, "I was wondering what happened to you." I turn back to the shopkeeper, "And whats with this?! I pick up the scroll and shove the scratched out symbol to him.
