Araia

She chuckle along with Blake. It was nice to see him again, and he also smiled. "Only you Blake, and yes I know. I must see some sort of a doctor soon." she said calmly. She then felt the air getting tense as Kyle started getting confused and angry. She looked at Kyle and saw that he dropped his knife, which was good. "Kyle please calm down, let him answer your question. He may have a good reason." Araia was starting to get worried, a fight wasn't something we needed right now.

Blake

Blake placed a hand on his chest as Kyle spoke, watching him. "Forgive me. I feared that my, ah, appearance would deter many of you from allowing me to join you. Plus, they decided that they wanted to literally tear apart my brain in order to figure out how I thought, which was absurd, and the reason behind why I wasn't there at the time of your escape. I simply heard some commotion and some scientists yelling, so I took a chance and left. Also, yes, I am part dinosaur." He chuckled. "It isn't as awesome as it may seem, let me tell you that much."

He turned to Araia and smiled yet again, a bit more than last time. "It is nice to see a familiar face as well. I suppose you wouldn't be able to see a doctor, though, Araia." He stated pointedly, staring at her wings. He knew that any doctor would turn her in for being a "freak" and she would be in danger again. Did he care much? Sort of. He didn't like seeing others get hurt, but he knew that he couldn't let someone get sent back to that hellhole. Plus, she was the closest thing to a friend that he had.

Araia

Araia was interested by his story. To think the scientists are really that stupid and curious to do something like that. She did realize she wouldn't see a doctor anytime soon, and that she'll have to suck it up if pain will start to come in the long run. She looked at Blake and saw him smiling. it was nice to see him smile. She needed a friend, someone to back her up in these tough times, yet she wasn't sure if he would back her up.

Kyle

He relaxed, obviously she knew him and seemed relaxed with him and he could take a hint...Sort of, sometimes, usually not really. He sheathed his k if and then crossed his arms. "Please don't stalk around. It makes me want to kill you and I really don't want to do that. " He looked at Araia, "Do watch him please." He sighed and then turned away from the two hybrid friends. He still wasn't sure about the new hybrid, but he would watch him from a distance. Besides, being hyper vigilant and fleeing from almost certain doom was tiring. With the rain finally stopping, he headed back to his little area under a low canopy of a tree.

It was dry-ish and gave him a nice view of the little rest area. He sat down at the base of the tree and leaned back. For the first time in a while, he allowed himself to relax, if only a tiny bit. He noticed Aspen was heading out and he knew that Ahren wouldn't be far behind. They could take on most of what could come their way. They would be fine, especially if the girls were together. He watched everything quietly and reflected on his a life a bit. Here he was, a human with cheetah DNA swirling through his body, sitting at the base eof a tree watching other hybrid humans rest before they would need to head out again. He sighed and simply relaxed.

Ahren

She watched Able's reaction to her words and didn't wait for his reply. She headed off after Aspen. She had become quite attached to the older woman and she often followed her around like a pathetic lot puppy, though she would never admit that to anyone...Maybe not even herself. The lioness looked at the Fox as the ginger spoke. She flashed him a smile, showing off her small fangs. "Yeah. Lion DNA. When I was younger, I used to lose control and attack everyone in sight. It earned me lots of sedation and lots of eyes on me at all times." She shrugged and then added, "A good chunk of the time I was just being difficult on purpose. " She looked ahead at Aspen and then sped up to walk beside her.

"So...Do you know what it's like to be in a city? Or any real civilization honestly."

Aspen heard steps behind her and figured it was Ahren. Glancing back, she saw Able instead. She turned forward again with an irritated huff. Well she for one wasn't waiting for the lioness to lead the way.

As she watched Kyle walk away, she let out a small sigh of relief. Unsure of what to do she turn her gaze back to Blake. she stared at the hybrid for a long time before speaking, "Would you like to sit?"

Blake

Blake chuckled at Kyle's words as he left, looking over at Araia. He shrugged lightly and strode over to her, sitting down beside her and sighing softly, thinking. He didn't know what to do, after all; he had no idea how to live in the wilderness. He hated the thought, if he was to be totally honest, and he wanted nothing to do with it. "Did they let you out, or did you escape yourselves?" He asked softly, his eyes transfixed on a little lizard moving across the ground. He was debating whether to eat it, but his appetite was a little ruined at the moment.

Araia

I sat down along with Blake. It was awkward at first but Blake broke the silence. The question was simple. She did escaped, and with with the group of hybrids that she's traveling with now. Other hybrids as well escaped but their attempts were unsuccessful. But Araia didn't know if other hybrids that escaped were still out there. Knowing that if Blake escaped and made it this far there must be others out there too. "I escaped, which explains the wound. A scientist tried to stop me by using his knife, but sadly since they tortured me and experimented with me, I didn't feel any pain." She said fiddling with her hands.

Blake.thought for a moment as she talked, noticing her hands as she fiddled with them. He sighed softly and shrugged. "I feel like a monster. I suppose they've both turned us into hellish monsters. Although you look much better than I do. I look more like a birdy with a skin condition." He chuckled a little at that last bit, but his face fell again and he looked down at the wound on her leg. "I suppose if I get enough herbs I can fix that for you. Somewhat. If somebody doesn't, you'll lose your leg." He looked back up at her expectantly.

She said shrugging the last bit off. She looked down at her leg, she guessed she needed some sort of herbs for her leg soon.

The older girl listened to Ahren talk, content she'd made an acquaintance at the least. When she mentioned being difficult, Aspen started laughing. "Oh, you're difficult all right." When asked a question, she glanced at the lioness before responding. "Not really, it's been too long. All I remember is that horrid lab."
