Ahren

The lioness looked ahead as Aspen chuckled and rolled her eyes at the winged woman's words. "I'm not too difficult...Ish." When Aspen had replied to her question, she nodded as she thought of what to say. Finally she spoke after o ly a moment, "I kind of remeber some stuff. Not much tho-" Flashbacks, fuzzy and jumbled, came to to her from a time before the labs. She remembered being in a car, watching the small shops of her home town whizz by. Muffled voices were in the front as she simply watched people go about their business. Suddenly, the atmosphere of her memory changed. The sounds of warping metal and shattering glass startled her and made the teenage girl physically flinch. It took only a quick moment for her to realize nothing had truly happened. It was only a memory. Still, she was a bit shaken by it and she lapsed into silence, term tail hanging uselessly, dragging on the ground as she walked.

Aspen rolled her eyes at that. "-Ish" was an understatement. When Ahren started talking again, she glanced ahead and didn't notice her flinch. Hearing a scraping sound, the girl turned back to the lioness and noted her tail and expression. "You ok?"

Alula (Ah-loo-a)
Alula, ever sense the group stopped moving, has been wandering around the bases of trees. Alula didn't like social or physical contact unless they talked first, even if it was the others who had escaped as well. She had her eyes closed, and was moving slowly from shadow to shadow, taking in the feel of the ground below her paws. She stopped however, when one of her feet decided to sink in a particularly muddy patch. Pulling her pawlike foot out of the mud she made her way over to a covered area near the base of a tree, something small enough for her to fit under. Alula began shaking her paw clean of the wet dampness of the mud sticking to her fur. The last thing this group needed was sickness because she decided a little chill doesn't harm anyone.

Ahren

"Uh...Yeah. Just-" she paused as she tried to find the right words. Odd flashbacks like this weren't abnormal for her. She knew she had amnesia and her life before the labs sometimes came in little bits and pieces in random orders. Like a puzzle piece to one large image. Though usually she would get the same flashbacks or memory type dreams, this was a new one. The sound of the metal and glass sent chills down her spine. She knew her parents passed din an accident, but until then, she never knew more than that. A car accident? , she thought. "I sometimes get memories of before the labs, but this was the most vivid I've ever had."

Ahren looked back at Able, wondering if he noticed anything, but to her relief, it seems he hadn't. Suddenly feeling bad for kind of leaving him out on pretty much everything, she spoke up. "Able, are you going to walk it us or trail behind like a dying animal?" Hopefully that wouldn't come out as bad sounding as it really was. She was trying to be nice but that didn't really come easily to the lion hybrid.

Blake snorted softly and rolled his eyes. "Do you realize what they designed me for? I was designed as the first of a "super race", which was supposed to aid men and women in combat. That was all I was back there. An experiment they made to prove they could aid the army, bring dinosaurs back, and perform successful bio-DNA recombinant fusions of animals. I was basically a failure because they couldn't control me. You? You're one of their most successful forms. I doubt they treated you as harshly as they did I."

Alula (Ah-loo-a)
Alula's eyes, or eye per say, scanned the area for something to do, sitting around and mainly useless wasn't going to do anyone any good. Her ears perked when she noticed Kyle out of the corner of her eye however. She shuffled nervously in her spot for a good few moments, he looked like he wanted to be left alone and honestly she was kinda scared to approach him. She began pawing at a piece of her mane like hair that fell out of place, biting her lip as well. Alula then took a deep breath and made her way out of her mini shelter, hopping over small puddles and spots of mud as she worked her way towards Kyle nervously.

Araia

"I...really wasn't, and I knew you were meant to help aid the army but I was built for being a spy. I wasn't small enough, I wasn't smart enough. So they experimented on me more. They made me suicidal, they continued to torture me, and they were going to get rid of me, by not sending me as a spy but as a solider. That's why I escaped, plus I needed to get away from there. Ever since...." Her voice soon started to fade.

Kyle

Kyle listened to the sounds of the hybrids around him and the two talking nearby. He wasn't really eavesdropping on their conversation, but he did hear them. Eventually he did hear foot steps walking nearby through the soft, slightly muddy geound. It was only a moment before he heard the footsteps grow closer. He opened one eyes slightly as he saw Alula head toward him. One of the younger hybrids. He opened both his eyes as she mad eher way toward him; he stayed silent. The cheetah hybrid could tell that she was nervous but he couldn't really tell why. She could always just be frazzled from the escape but it didn't seem that way. He waited patiently for her to either do something or speak as he watched her through drowsy eyes.

Alula (Ah-loo-a)
"I-im sorry, erm if I woke or bothered you" she shuffled her paws, the small pang of fear along with the increasing nervousness sent chills up her spine. Her eyes shifted around and her ears were flat against her head. Again, she was more of be approached then approach herself. She wasn't used to just walking up to anybody and introducing herself, even if she knew said person. "I, um..." she took a deep breath before continuing "I was wondering if I can sit here with you...im not used to being well, alone...don't get me wrong the others being near me is comforting! I just..." she found it hard to explain, the fear of being alone when your not really alone probably doesn't make sense to others the way she puts it.

Aspen nodded, doing her best to understand despite her own lack of such flashes. She hissed irritably and whacked the lioness when Ahren was snippy with Able. "Would it kill you to be nice? Sheesh."

The lioness cringed away from Aspen at her correction. She sighed and then looked at Able. She supposed she could try to be nice. "Yes. Coffee sounds wonderful." She closed her eyes and thought of the rich drink she grew fond of only months ago. She opened her eyes, gave Able a small smile, and then said, "Yeah. That and a large burger. They don't really go well together but on their own...Mmm. Yeah. That's sounds good." He stomach growled in agreement as she placed her clawed hand on her belly. "I am SO hungry!", she yelled, even though something like that could have given their position away.

(So should we stumble upon a TINY town or something else remote? )

Kyle looked at the leonine hybrid and then gave her a small half smile that didn't quite reach his eyes. He lightly patted the ground next to him, hoping that would be enough of an answer for the younger girl. Lion and...Another cat. He could tell that much by the short bobbed tail. He knew her as he had seen her many times at the facility and he was sure she had seen him as well but they never actually met. At least not a meeting he remembered. But the last few years had been hazy. He could have met her and simply forgot, or maybe he didn't. Who knows? But either way, now would be a good time to get to know the young girl.

Blake sighed quietly and nudged her shoulder with his. "I suppose they've done things nobody should ever see to us." He stated, his sentence hardly making sense, although he hoped she understood what he was saying. It had been so long since he had actually had a conversation with someone. He stood and offered her his hand, intending to show her something. "I found a place on my way here that we can stay for a while. No predators around." He looked at her questioningly, wondering if she would follow.
