Welcome Void Bee!
That sounds great, I love goldens!
As for the mutation: they tend to happen naturally with enough time and breeding even without items. And then there are the CRB NCLs that happen once in a while

Yes. As long as you bred the cub, they can be any generation. You don't even have to heritage replace them, unless you trying to avoid inbreeding, or want them available for other HM members to stud.

Which one would do better for studs if I made them heritagless? (maybe add a mod on either)

https://www.lioden.com/lion.php?id=794177528993 - prismatic

https://www.lioden.com/lion.php?id=794177583050 - vitiligo

@Sai
Neither of these lions are Hard Mode compatible, they have lineage from all over the place. They are both gorgeous and if you make them heritageless you can stud them to Hard Mode players on the non-hard-mode stud thread, but kinging them disqualifies your pride from Hard Mode.

@Cerrates
I mentioned making them heritagless, and my current king (the vitiligo one) is heritageless as well, I plan to transfer the prismatic over to my side account for freezing as a project heir

@Sai
I think what Cerr means, is that making a lion heritageless doesn't make the lion Hard Mode.
While you can do that and offer the heritageless lion as a stud to HM members, the lion itself still doesn't qualify as HM-compatible.
The whole idea of the challenge is to breed a lion completely in HM. And yes that can mean long heritage and inbreeding. But it has to happen within your own pride and only using heritageless studs from outside.
If your lions don't hit that reqirement, then they are not HM and thus not allowed for the challenge.

I didn't check their heritage in detail, so I woulndn't know.

I suppose I'll have to drop hard mode then lol

I assumed that making a lion heritageless would make them hard mode compatible but that does make more sense

@Sal

You can still stud with us though, and keep your king on our stud thread!
