Jessie once again blinked rapidly when Nate when by her in a blur, unable to beleive that this was happening...it's not like she saw it the first time it happened but this time she did and it was amazing to say the least. Well it was amazing to her seeing a man move that fluidly and fast but she could tell Nate wasn't exactly over joyed he had this ability to outrun the fastest runners without breaking a sweat.

Eddie's eyes widened. He didn't quite understand what he had just saw. He stood up from his chair and removed his glasses to make sure he wasn't seeing things. But still, Nate lay there, on the opposite wall. He cleaned his glasses before putting them back on and looking between Nate and Jessie. "Oh, you weren't kidding. This could be either a problem or something really cool. Get up here, let me take some tests." Nate did as he said, and Eddie worked as fast he could to get the things he needed for a few tests.

"Need any help?" Jessie asked leaning against Eddie's desk and watching him work. "I don't just want to sit here doing anything..."

Kelsie had woken up late that day but planned to go to the hospital to check up on Nate only to find he was no longer at the hospital but was checked out a few hours ago. A frown came up on her face as she took out her phone, dialing Nate's number hoping he'd pick up.

Eddie shook his head at Jessie's question. He was never one that liked to work with people because that's when mistakes were made and people were blamed. All by himself, Eddie could really concentrate and any mistakes done were automatically at his fault though Eddie wasn't one to screw up.

Once Eddie took a blood sample and was examining it, Nate looked through his phone, seeing it had been almost two months since the accident. He saw that he had missed call from Kelsie and decided to give her a call back, knowing that she must be worried sick about him.

Jessie nodded and sat on a chair, watching Eddie work through a few things. Most of which she understood but only a few where he didn't.

Kelsie sighed when he didn't pick up and decided to go back home for the time being, her phone rang though almost immediately after she stepped out of the building, "Nate? Oh my gosh where are you? They're saying you checked out of the hospital... I came to see you but-"

Eddie took several different blood samples and did X-rays and different exam procedures. When some of the results came back, his eyes widened, as he put it down on the table for both Nate and Jessie to see. "You see those chromosomes. They are three times the size as a normal humans not to mention he has three xtra ones. Whatever hit him is changing his entire body." Nate listened to the Doctor, his eyes growing wide. "Sorry Kelsie, I have to go, but I will meet up with you as soon as I can." Nate hunt up, looking g Eddie. "What does this mean?" He asks. He was smart but not on the same level as the professor in front of him. Eddie looked at him. "It could be deadly."

Jessie approached the large monitor and looked at the X-rays, "This isn't good, is there anyway that it wouldn't be lethal to Nate? Like a way to prevent any negative outcomes?" She asked, obviously worried about her friend.

Kelsie groaned in annoyance when Nate hung up without letting her get another word in, deciding to leave him to do whatever he wanted. She wasn't one to usually get mad, especially at Nate but right now through the worry, she was just mad he didn't even explain a thing to her.

Nate felt his heart stop for a second when Eddie stated that what he had, whatever it may be, could be deadly to his body. Thoughts began running through his mind. What if it was lethal? What would he do? Would he even be able to survive? Would it weaken his immune system? Jessie began trying to seek out ways to help him. Eddie could see the concerned look on his face and breathed. "But, he feels fine. So only more tests will be able to specify what exactly is going on."

Kelsie's stubbornness had caused her to drive to Nate's place, only to find him not there when she rung the doorbell. The only other reasonable option was that he was at Sun-Labs, after all, Jessie was the one who checked him out of the hospital. When she got there, she walked into the facility and asked the girl at the front desk whether or not Nate had checked in recently.

"What do you think that it could be?" Nate asks. Eddie looked at him, forming an answer, but before he could say it, his intercom came on. "Nate." It was their clerk, and she sounded tired and annoyed as if she had a bad day. Nate smiled. No one was having a worse day than him. After all, he could be dying. "You have a visitor by the name of Kelsie here." And Nate's eyes widened. He didn't want to tell her anything until he was sure. He sighed before he walked out, finding her in the office. "Kelsie," he greets warmly, as he wrapped his arms around her in a hug. "What are you doing here?"

Kelsie pushed against his chest, when he went in for a hug, giving him a half-hearted glare, "What am I doing here? When I called you, you just hung up on me without an explanation then when I come here I see that you're perfectly fine, no harm done from the accident two months ago--which mind I haven't seen you since then--. What's going on Nate?"

Nate knew better than to think that Kelsie was going to just let him off of the hook, but he could hope. He looked at the glare she was giving him and put a hand behind his head, scratching, trying to find an excuse. "Nothing, I've been really into work and stuff. A lot has been going on."

"You could've called me! You didn't call me once over the last two months but you didn't and now you're acting as if I'm completely ok with it." She crossed her arms, the glare on her face not faltering one bit.

Nate wanted to tell Kelsie everything, but he knew that he couldn't. He wouldn't be able to until he knew himself what was going on. He sighed, biting the inside of her cheek before shrugging. "Things have been so crazy Kelsie," he states. "I don't know what more you want me to say." Nate was never one to act like a jerk, but he didn't know what to tell her on this one.

"God! Is that all you have to say? Fine, call me when you decide that I'm worth talking to." She didn't let him reply, she just walked out the door, her steps angry and annoyed.
