Nate knew how impulsive Kelsie was. She was just angry with him for not talking to her. It didn't mean that she hated him. He sighed, wishing he could tell her everything. But how could he explain the things he didn't get himself? It was better this way. He inhaled before turning and going back into the lab, his eyes down.

Kelsie wanted to slap Nate for everything...but she didn't want to since it wasn't worth getting violent. The drive home was going to be quick but she took the longer route just so she had an excuse for herself to take longer to get home.

Eddie looked up when Nate re entered, able to see the sadness and frustration on his face though he didn't comment on it. He breathed in slowly before exhaling. "Do what do I need to do doc?" And Eddie grinned before sitting up. "Right now, I need you to run."

Kelsie had ended up going to get food, for some reason she wanted to be anywhere but home...there were too many memories made there and the fact that she had left on such a bad note with Nate hurt. She wasn't feeling very hungry either but she felt the need to eat a big steak with mashed potatoes.

Nate followed Eddie and Jessie out, and it wasn't long before they reached an empty place where airplanes used to take off. Nate cocked his head to the side at Eddie, wondering what they were doing there. Eddie raised his chin. "You know why we're here," he states. "We are going to run."

Jessie sat behind the protective glass in front of a flimsy looking tent with a smile on her face, she knew it was bound to be interesting to watch Nate run, or try to, down the abandoned runway. "How long is the distance?" She asks afterritory.php Eddie had said Nate was going to run.

Eddie docked his head to the side, as numbers ran through his mind, concentration on his face before he looked back at Jessie. "If my calculations are correct, and they always are, then this course is five miles. The fastest man on Earth can run that distance in about twenty five minutes. But that was before we met Nate here." Nate listened before looking at the distance before getting in a running position, preparing himself and waiting for his go.

Jessie looked down at the air gun on the table and decided to do the honors. Taking the gun, she pointed it up towards the sky, giving him a two word countdown, "Ready....Set..." Then she pulled the trigger, releasing a loud gun like sound vibrating in the air.
