Casey| ♋ | House | ♌ Casey paused at Darius's question, his pencil in mid-stroke. Looking up, his eyes fixed upon the man's wet hair. So he had been the one in the shower. He had to admit, the Leo looked calmer, a little more relaxed than earlier. It was nice to see, at least to Casey. Not to mention the fact that he hadn't just sneaked a look over his shoulder or just stolen the sketchbook from the Cancer's hands. How many times had the other Zodiacs done that? How many times had Casey had to chase them around to try to get it back when they met on this planet? He remembered one time, a long time ago, when one of the Zodiacs had grabbed and promptly lost his old sketchbook. He had spent hours, days even, searching for the memory-filled papers, only to never find them. He had gone silent for a long while after that. It was silly to hold such things in high regard, but the sketchbooks he had felt like a part of him, much like the others' zodiac tattoos and planets. "Oh, I'm trying to finish the sketch of a sea turtle i saw on the beach." He answered Darius, turning his sketchbook to show him the drawing. Indeed, it was of a sea turtle on the sand, taking up most of the picture. Surrounding it was a few hermit crabs and shells. It was almost like it was a black and white photograph, except you could clearly see the pencil lines and shading. "I thought it'd be good to try to finish some of the stuff I started earlier. Did you have a nice shower?" It was a bit of an odd question to ask, but he couldn't stop himself from asking. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Darius | ♌ | House | ♋ Darius's eyes seemed to widen in shock at the clarity of the picture before him, his lips parting slightly as his jaw dropped to suck in a breath. He'd never seen someone draw anything so realistically, yet so... Well, sketchy. The pencil lines added a rough feeling to the overall picture, but in a way that felt nice, and was nice to look at. The Leo was transfixed for a moment, almost like a parent who was proud of their child for getting so good at art. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Casey| ♋ | House | ♌ Casey smiled at the compliment. He didn’t hear such things from people often, partly due to the fact that he was so reluctant to show off his art now. However, it was nice to see the Leo look at the picture as if it were moving. Sometimes, the Cancer wondered if the drawings did move, at least to those who looked at it. To him, it was but a still painting, a snapshot to make him remember moments he had lived through. But what was it to others? A still shot of a movie? Maybe something to remind them of joyful days long gone? Casey never asked. “Thank you, and I’m glad the shower was…” He lifted his gaze from the back of his sketchbook just in time to see Darius’s grumpy expression and the bandaged hand. Since when was his hand bandaged? It hadn’t been this morning at breakfast. Had he busted his knuckles open punching something? Was that something a threat? And if the wounds were open, having them wet wouldn’t be good. Coudn’t they get infected? Casey’s brow knit together slightly in concern as he sat his sketchbook to the side. “Are you alright? What happened to your hand?” 0 players like this post! Like? |

Luka Marinus | ♑ | Guest House | Mentions (Directly) ⛎ Jaxton He nodded his head at the comment that Jaxton made, hearing the change in tone that was very slight and the look in his eyes. Luka's eyes continued to watch him as he sat down on the couch. Calmly, Luka walked over and sat down next to him, making sure that where he was sitting was fine before completing the action. "Ah, yes, what we were speaking about before. I was talking about how you were somehow able to extract us from our homes, correct? I would very much like to know exactly how to return so I don't have to spend more time than necessary here," he explained with a motion that implied the entire Earth. His eyes held no emotion and neither did his voice. Mostly, he seemed completely in control of the situation, as he somehow always felt like he could be. It only changed with his ignorant and idiotic siblings. He crossed his legs and had his head turned towards Jaxton, a few strands of his black hair hanging over his forehead and into his intense blue gaze. His thumb rubbed casually over his watch, the motion almost absentmindedly done in that moment. It was almost as if he wasn't in control of the motion because it became so integrated with his normal interactions. "Of course, that would also lead to the topic of you and who you are," he added with a wave towards Jaxton. There was something about the other man that he could accept. Perhaps it was because he understood the scorn of his siblings. Or, it was just because he could understand hating something, as he hated everything at one point in time and slowly started to accept some things. At first, he had hated his home, and then it became something too precious to him for other Zodiacs to taint. However, he doubted he would ever come to accept Earth or its inhabitants. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 17/04/17 @ 18:47:38 by HearMeRoar (#27573) |

Dakota | ♉ | House | Mentions: ♍Millicent, ⛎Jaxton, ♊Joel, ♋Casey Dakota huffed as she left the lake. Not really sure what to do during her minimal spare time before she had to go find the last Zodiac around, Virgo. Pulling out a chocolate bar (dark of course) Dakota nibbled on it as she walked. Why some people didn't like Dark chocolate she couldn't understand. Sure it was bitter but it was a good bitter. Not to mention it was heather not that it really matters when it comes to her. After all, its not like she, or any of the zodiacs for that matter can die of old age or disease like humans can. This line of thought quickly brought Jaxton to her mind along with what he had done. the only people who really knew what he had done and how bad it truly was is Aries and herself. Joel and Casey are the only ones who have seen him but dont know what he did. The others have neither seen him or learnt what he has done after all, he was exiled before Leo was born. And Aries and herself made well to keep the others from knowing what had happened the only explanation being an aggressive glare and a reminder not to ask them again. The only words any have gotten out of them being "....It was bad....Lets leave it at that..." before an abrupt change of conversation was made. Strangely enough her line of though was instantly brought to something she had read a few years ago in a book called "The Jungle Book" She couldn't help but repeat it as she walked around in the forest. "NOW this is the Law of the Jungle — as old and as true as the sky; And the Wolf that shall keep it may prosper, but the Wolf that shall break it must die. As the creeper that girdles the tree-trunk the Law runneth forward and back — For the strength of the Pack is the Wolf, and the strength of the Wolf is the Pack. Wash daily from nose-tip to tail-tip; drink deeply, but never too deep; And remember the night is for hunting, and forget not the day is for sleep. The Jackal may follow the Tiger, but, Cub, when thy whiskers are grown, Remember the Wolf is a Hunter — go forth and get food of thine own. Keep peace withe Lords of the Jungle — the Tiger, the Panther, and Bear. And trouble not Hathi the Silent, and mock not the Boar in his lair. When Pack meets with Pack in the Jungle, and neither will go from the trail, Lie down till the leaders have spoken — it may be fair words shall prevail. When ye fight with a Wolf of the Pack, ye must fight him alone and afar, Lest others take part in the quarrel, and the Pack be diminished by war. The Lair of the Wolf is his refuge, and where he has made him his home, Not even the Head Wolf may enter, not even the Council may come. The Lair of the Wolf is his refuge, but where he has digged it too plain, The Council shall send him a message, and so he shall change it again. If ye kill before midnight, be silent, and wake not the woods with your bay, Lest ye frighten the deer from the crop, and your brothers go empty away. Ye may kill for yourselves, and your mates, and your cubs as they need, and ye can; But kill not for pleasure of killing, and seven times never kill Man! If ye plunder his Kill from a weaker, devour not all in thy pride; Pack-Right is the right of the meanest; so leave him the head and the hide. The Kill of the Pack is the meat of the Pack. Ye must eat where it lies; And no one may carry away of that meat to his lair, or he dies. The Kill of the Wolf is the meat of the Wolf. He may do what he will; But, till he has given permission, the Pack may not eat of that Kill. Cub-Right is the right of the Yearling. From all of his Pack he may claim Full-gorge when the killer has eaten; and none may refuse him the same. Lair-Right is the right of the Mother. From all of her year she may claim One haunch of each kill for her litter, and none may deny her the same. Cave-Right is the right of the Father — to hunt by himself for his own: He is freed of all calls to the Pack; he is judged by the Council alone. Because of his age and his cunning, because of his gripe and his paw, In all that the Law leaveth open, the word of your Head Wolf is Law. Now these are the Laws of the Jungle, and many and mighty are they; But the head and the hoof of the Law and the haunch and the hump is — Obey!" She couldn't help but think as the Zodiacs as her own pack. With Aries being the head wolf and Joel, Casey, and herself as the council. A certain sentence stuck to her the most though, "For the strength of the Pack is the Wolf, and the strength of the Wolf is the Pack." It was true in a way. One wolf could never take down a full pack, but a pack wouldn't exist without the wolf. Ironically enough it was at this point in time that Dakota saw none other then a wolf. It was big, and well fed. It was dragging a baby deer somewhere and for some reason this made Dakota feel content, just seeing nature work in its own way. " I should get a dog." She isn't sure where it came from but it was something she knew she wanted to do. So with this in mind she promptly turned around and sprinted through the forest back to the house only slowing when she had reached the porch. Darius | ♌ | House | ♋ Darius paused for a moment as he saw Casey place his sketchbook to the side, a sense of unease welling within him. He hated it when other people noticed he was injured. He didn't hate it when people cared, he just... Disliked feeling vulnerable. He held his lower lip between his teeth for a moment before releasing it and shrugging his shoulders, attempting to look nonchalant. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Remy ~ Aquarius ~ Basement ~ Mentions: Open The floor was cold on her skin, not that it bothered her. She was confused though, as she was sitting just a few seconds ago. Oh great, she fell asleep. She was laying spread eagle on the basement floor, her shirt shoved up just under her rib cage. She didn't fix it right away, instead she looked at the tattoo that snaked around her body. It was kind of weird how some of the others had their symbols on their bodies, but she just had the tattoo. It was cool though, she liked octopuses (fun fact: that's the correct plural). She looked back up, saw the dummy, and jolted. She had forgotten that it'd been used and bloodied. God, that spooked her. Like a child afraid of the dark, she got up and scurried towards the stairs. Remy swore that thing was looking at her as she moved. At the top of the stairs, she was sure to close the door and lock it. It was just a reassurance. The seemed quiet. Shrugging, she figured the others were just busy and totally NOT having secret conversations with an ancient outcast she didn't even know about. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Casey| ♋ | House | ♌ Casey frowned, listening to Darius’s explanation. It made sense but did nothing to really ease the other’s worry. He knew that the Leo liked to fight things, punching his frustrations out and things similar to that. Still, the wounds worried him. Anyone being injured worried him, as it’d impede their ability to fight if the worst case scenario happened. This time, though, the worry was greater. Just what had frustrated Darius enough for him to bust his knuckles open on a dummy. The mention of the Leo going through way worse made Casey glance at the scars on the other’s eyebrow and lip. He didn’t know the history behind those marks, highly suspected that he never would. Despite his notions, he often wondered what kind of a fight Darius had gotten into to earn such marks. Maybe, just maybe, if… He stopped himself there. No need to worry about the past, especially when the other insisted not to worry. He stared at Darius for a bit longer, his worried expression still present, until he closed his eyes and let out a sigh. “Alright… I trust you, Darius. But it’s still not good for the bandages to be wet. Do you have extra you can use instead of keeping those on?” He knew his concern might be grating on the other's nerves, but he just wanted to be careful. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Millicent |♍|Lake-Forest-Zodiac House|Mentions: (directly)♌, ♋, ♒, (indirectly) ♉ Millicent continued to slowly sink in the chair at the table, she came up with weird little ideas of imagination like she was slowly melting out of existence or turning into a pile of dust or something. Obviously she wasn't, that would be a moment to question and mildly panic over. The Virgo sighed, pulling herself in the seat again. Looking at Casey and Darius from her little distance away. Doing her best to listen until she spotted Remy, her head lolled over to watch her before she stood from the chair. Walking off up stairs to investigate. She hadn't been up there yet and she was highly curious. Doors, it was a lot of doors with symbols to signal which zodiacs room was theirs. She was the sixth door, how lovely. She stared at it for a moment, taking a small moment to consider and appreciate what her elder sister what come up with, Dakota may have been a bit control-freak like, but she did have a sense of order. That she could appreciate. "Snazzy." she muttered to herself, looking at the staircase. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Dakota | ♉ | House | Mentions: ♍Millicent, Dakota headed into the house and up the stairs before turning to her left so she could reach her room and get some cash she had stored up for the dog she has the sudden impulse to buy. It was then that she saw Millicent standing at her door. She quickly called out, "Millicent hey! Finally found you! Your the only one who doesn't know I'm holding a meeting in a little bit now that everyone, who can be here is actually here save Scorpio and Aries but Aries already knows about it so it's fine. meeting will be in the living room. It's time for you all to learn about Ophiuchus. I'll send a text to everyone when I get what i need to get real quick." Dakota quickly said before ducking into her room , leaving the door wide open to show it before heading to a corner that held both a safe and a mini fridge she quickly opened the safe, pulled out some cash closed the safe, put her chocolate in the fridge and left the room. Closing the door she turned to Millicent and said goodbye before sprinting down the stairs, barley noticing the lack of water on the floor, a small smile gracing her features in approval before she sprinted the rest of the way to the lake before following a path that lead to a nearby dog breeder who breed working dogs 0 players like this post! Casey| ♋ | House | ♌ Casey had never really dealt with blood well. The stuff always made him feel sick to his stomach, no matter where he saw it. Seeing it on a friend’s hand though… that was a different experience entirely. Only the slight widening of his eyes betrayed the alarm he had. Thankfully, Darius hid the wound almost immediately after showing it, excusing himself to retrieve his duffel bag with a flat joke that made Casey crack a forced smile. And while he was gone, Casey had time to think. He ran a hand through his hair, trying to ignore the tossing and turning of his stomach. That didn’t look like a wound one would get from merely sparring with a dummy. That more looked like… self-punishment or uncontrollable anger. Either one didn’t bode well. For once, the Cancer wished he was good at talking or being a listening ear. Maybe it would help or at least let the Leo do something else other than beat his fists to a bloody pulp. But he knew better than to hope for such things. The two of them had their routines. He didn’t expect them to break away from them. Still, it’d be good to hope to progress past just a simple head nod from time to time. At that point, Darius came back and Casey put a halt to his thoughts. At the sight of the clean bandages, Casey relaxed just a little bit, but only just. Once the soiled bandages were removed, however, Casey drew a quick breath in. It was like he thought. Those marks weren’t from a simple training session. He felt his hand tremble, part of him wanting to reach out and perhaps help take the pain away but he didn’t. He simply put his hand in his lap. “Definitely not the prettiest picture.” He let the quiet words out, and a few even quieter ones followed. “Must have been one heck of a training session…” 0 players like this post! Millicent |♍|Lake-Forest-Zodiac House|Mentions: ♌, ♋, ♒, ♉ "Wait-what-meeting?" she stammered, taking in the info like she had been shot in the head, then Dakota was off. she'd stride down stairs, glancing at Darius and Casey. Then the duffel bag, then the bandages, or well, what could've been bandages, they looked like murdered linen. She kept a remark about that to herself She looked around, eyeing Darius, Casey, and Remy. Then only three she could see visibly in the room. "Wonder what she needed to go fetch that required cash." she muttered, pondering what info would be given about Ophiuchus, oh it was all so over dramatically exciting for her! You could just see the suspense pouring out from her face! Not really, she actually looked very irritated more so then usual. She sigh, returning to her thoughts before walking over to the one person only chair plopping herself back in the lonely chair, returning to her sinking act. This time she didn't sit up just sorta, stayed at the awkward bend her back was caught at for sloping in the chair. It was very uncomfortable but it did somehow help her think. Or she just needed to stretch more often because she doesn't participate in a lot of exercise. Her back was starting to hurt, she really should stop doing this but it helped her think way more then it should. So why bother? 0 players like this post! Like? |

Darius | ♌ | House | ♋ The gasp from Casey made him wince as if the boy had just poured saltwater into his wounds. He always hated making others concerned, and that would never change. Sure, his stubbornness and short-temper might get in the way of that at times, but... This was one of those times where they didn't. He had no reason to be angry or stubborn or anything else. Only embarrassed, and perhaps a bit ashamed. 0 players like this post! Like? |
