Cassie heads towards the scent of water and comes across a hidden pool, she takes a moment to dip in its dark waters. At first it's cool and refreshing, though panic quickly washes over her as she feels a tendril wrap around her hind paw. She struggles against its pull, the first tug does nothing, then another, until finally she yanks herself free. As she heads to the banks and catches her breath she notices a loop of a stray ribbon wrapped around her back leg. Cassie laughs at at the situation, glad no one was here to witness her freaking out over ribbons. After the panic has finally subsided she thinks to herself that this would be a decent spot to rest some time when the danger has passed. You have found the following items: - Missing Ribbon (1 event point) - Resting spot! (NONEVENT ITEM!) - You have found an item that can be used in the main dogweed thread! Congratulations! This will NOT be added to your event inventory, instead it will be added to your main inventory on your garden page. Cassie's turn is over for today, but you have other Dogweeds available in your garden. Would you like to use another one? Dogweeds Available: Hallie You have items stored in your inventory (1 Rough Bark.) You may use them at any time or store them for later. 0 players like this post! Like? Cassie returns to the garden, soaking wet and dripping puddles as she walks. Hallie opens her mouth to make a comment but decides against it. She's been made aware of the situation by the other Dogweeds in her new home and realizes there's work to be done. She enters the forest hoping not to return either as badly beaten as Sierra or as soaking wet as Cassie. Immediately she spots a slithering shadow, most likely one of of Mar's many children. She pauses for a moment, weighing her options. A.) Follow the serpent? B.) Search deeper into the forest. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Hallie's hunting skills are impeccable, she stalks the shadow following it at every turn. Try as it might it cannot evade her, she has it cornered! Cunningly the small serpent slithers into tall grass until it finally disappears. Hallie makes her way towards the last spot she saw the creature, before her is even taller grass and a small hole. The scent of it is still strong, though she's not sure where it has gone. Does she... A.) Dig it out, it must have hidden in the burrow! B.) Search the tall grass, it must have escaped through there! C.) Leave, it's not worth your effort. Search deeper into the forest. D.) Choose your own option (you may type any action you wish Hallie to take.) 0 players like this post! Like? Hallie leaves the hollow and heads towards the taller grass, she sees it shifting ahead of her, but it is not the serpent. She sighs, it has evaded her... for now. She combs through the tall reeds halfheartedly, disappointed that she didn't get to have her revenge against the snake, though not wishing to return home empty handed. It doesn't take long before her sharp eye spot something of interest. A patch of mint! Deftly she collects its leaves, cutting the stalks from the roots with her thorns to keep from crushing the plant. Proud of her find she returns to the Garden. You have found the following items: - Mint leaf – Cools the sting of battle (+5 health) x2 - No missing ribbons (0 event points) Hallie's turn is over for today, you have no more Dogweeds available in your garden. You are now on cooldown until 'Turn 2' (next rollover) unless someone uses a sweet treat on you before then. Even though your turn is over you may still use items on yourself or others. Using items on others may award Saint Points. You have items stored in your inventory (1 Rough Bark. 2 Mints.) You may use them at any time or store them for later. Final overview: Sunset Prince (9/10 health), Sierra (7/10), Cassie (10/10), Hallie (10/10.) Thank you for participating in the event Ianian! 0 players like this post! Like? That's fine xD you don't need a name to join in on the fun! The pale purple Dogweed lifts her head at the sound of chattering, her sunbathing has been disturbed. She pries open one of her many eyes to see what commotion is afoot and spies several feral Dogweeds crossing her garden. They appear badly beaten and her heart aches for them as she was a wandering feral not so long ago until the dogweed tender found her a proper home. She questions them softly, wondering who could have done this to her brethren? They relay the message to her that the blessed tree is under attack, that Mar the shadow serpent has taken over their home. Worse still, the Dogweed tender has gone missing. Determined she decides to brave the dense woods in search of means to help, whether it be items, ribbons, or the old man himself. Today seems to be a particularly loud day, not even two steps into the forest and the nameless female hears a piercing shriek. It chills her bones as it echos around her, perhaps it was a mistake to come here after all? But then something else catches her attention, a rather appealing scent! Maybe this place isn't so bad after all? A.) Head towards the loud noise. B.) Follow the appealing scent. C.) Ignore both, Head deeper into the forest. 0 players like this post! Like? For Takoyaki Of course! We're gonna take it one at a time though so I don't get confused. Let's start with Ebisu and when his turn is over we'll move on to Kitsunebi. Ebisu had only just gotten used to the new addition of his mutated kin in the garden when even more chaos had been thrown his way. News had spread quickly, Kitsunebi was the last ribbon to be blessed, and was likely to remain so until the scourge of the shadow serpents was destroyed. All the other poor souls had been torn from the tree. He was pleased that at least his new brother had made it out alive. Regardless he had to do something, and so he headed towards the woods, not quite sure what he was to find. Others had done the same to help the cause so it seemed only right that he should do the same. Night was now falling, the forest was covered entirely in shadows almost as dark as the serpent Mar's ebony body. Every rustle, every flash of movement or soft sound put Ebisu on edge. He stood his ground, unmoving. Now was not the time to panic, wits alone would guide him through this trial. How should he better gauge his surroundings? A.) Close is his eyes, let his ears guide him. B.) Climb the trees, get a better view. C.) Call out to the woods, let nature help him. 0 players like this post! Like? |

For cin☆vo Her head was swimming, the scent was overwhelming. She felt dizzy, but still coherent enough to follow the scent. It wasn't difficult to do, the wind was strong at this hour and easily carried the smell towards her. The unnamed Dogweed's yellow eyes lighted with joy at her discovery! Such sweet smelling berries! She leaned closer to scarf down the meal only to be disrupted by a THWAP! The breeze had carried a torn ribbon straight towards her and it had landed with a smack across her face. It was enough of a shock to make her realize that perhaps the berries should be brought home, not hastily eaten. Frantically she grabbed the missing ribbon in her jaws and cupped the extra berries in her broad leaves to take home. You have found the following items: - Sweet treat – Allows you a second turn for any Dogweed today (or another day of your choosing.) - Missing Ribbon (1 event point) Nameless the Twelfth's turn is over for today, you have no more Dogweeds available in your garden. You are now on cooldown until 'Turn 2' (next rollover) unless someone uses a sweet treat on you before then. Even though your turn is over you may still use items on yourself or others. Using items on others may award Saint Points (special event points.) You have items stored in your inventory (1 Sweet treat.) You may use them at any time or store them for later. Final overview: Nameless the Twelfth (10/10 health) 0 players like this post! Like? |
