For Takoyaki All six eyes close tightly, shutting out the confusion of sight. The dark Dogweed focuses only on what his ears tell him. At first he can hear nothing but noise, the sound of his breathing, the sound of his heartbeat, a noisy cricket. He focuses his keen hearing, trying to pinpoint something with more substance. Ebisu's ears twitch at the surrounding sounds, a sharp clink... clink... clink.. coming through one ear, and a very faint whimper coming from the other. He is torn, unsure of what the source of either sound is. Either way a decision has to be made. A.) Head towards the clinking sound B.) Head towards the whimper C.) Ignore both, listen again. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Nebulous, the more reckless of the two, rushes in to fight. Paradox, unwilling to let her go into battle alone, follows swiftly behind her. He is ready to fight. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I like the spunk, fox! Two fights it is! We'll start with Nebulous first. For Fox I've rolled for Nebulous's skills strengths. They will remain hidden, but you can try and figure out what her best skill is through battle results. (Strongest trait: 6 sided die, normal trait: 5 sided, weakest: 4 sided.) Nebulous is the first to hear of the news, and there is no way she would sit idly by. Enraged she barrels towards the sacred tree without any hesitation. Mar looms ahead, vibrant red eyes staring down at the smaller canid. "This is who they send to me?" She chuckles, sweeping her sight over Nebulous's pink pelt, "Leave me little one, this is my home now." Nebulous is not about to take that sort of lip from an overgrown earthworm. How does she retaliate? A.) Use her caustic sap B.) Fiercly bite C.) Lash her tail 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 13/04/18 @ 17:14:41 by Catty (#142466) |

Growling in outrage Nebulous responds with a Fiercely Bite. She refuses to mince words with an overgrown worm. 0 players like this post! Like? |

For Fox Mar is far too amused at the thought of a small pink creature trying to face her and her demonic brood to pay any attention to Nebulous' actions. The shadowy-being was completely unaware of the fatal mistake she had made. When the serpent had lowered her head to get a better look at Nebulous she failed to realize just how close she had gotten. And worse yet, her head was now flung back in hearty laughter, entirely exposing her throat. Nebulous's muscles strained as she launched herself forward, jaws parted revealing rows of uneven fangs. Her teeth ached as they connected with the sinewy snake's hide, the impact shook her entire frame. Mar's screams of agony could be heard from the deepest part of the forest as she tried to free herself from Nebulous' bite. The shadowy serpent pulled it's head up into the safety of the tree's boughs, bashing Nebulous against a branch, perhaps the very branch she was born from. The blow caused Nebulous to release her grasp, tumbling down to the earth below, landing with a resounding thud. Damage done to Mar: 5! +3 event points (for damage 5-6) Your Dogweed has taken damage: -4 point of health. 6/10 total health. Nebulous' turn is over for today Would you still like to fight with Paradox? 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 14/04/18 @ 08:58:49 by Catty (#142466) |

(Strongest trait: 6 sided die, normal trait: 5 sided, weakest: 4 sided.) Before we start the battle I’ll give you two options. A.) Paradox will go to Nebulous’ side, this will weaken whatever damage roll he does by 2 points (obviously not less than 1 point of damage.) B.) Go straight for Mar, get revenge. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 13/04/18 @ 19:24:56 by Catty (#142466) |

Paradox moves cautiously to Nebulouss' side. He is determined to fight along side her even if he knows that retreating is a better option. 0 players like this post! Like? |

dictisaurus Tarul, the first of the most recent generation of Dogweeds, enters the forest without a moments delay. He refuses to waver despite seeing waves of his kin return from the forest either empty handed or badly injured. Night is heavy, the moon has long since passed its zenith, and his search has proven to be fruitless. Nothing has come up, but he can't turn back. He stops to rest a moment, taking in his surroundings. Overhead an owl flies so soundlessly Tarul isn't even sure it was truly there at all. Its large yellow eyes flash once again and Tarul pinpoints its location. A.) Stalk the owl silently. B.) Howl at the nocturnal bird. C.) Ignore it entirely, search deeper into the forest. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Fox Once Paradox is reassured Nebulous is well enough to stand, he uses his weight to help her onto her feet and support her. It will be more difficult to attack while keeping her upright, but he knows she would do the same for him if the situation were reverse. Mar is much more cautious this time around, she will not be so easily caught off guard. Attack power rolls temporarily -2 points (1 turn). For Paradox's selfless action you have been awarded 1 Saint Point! Now it's Paradox's time to shine. Can't let Nebulous down, now can we? A.) Use his caustic sap B.) Fiercly bite C.) Lash his tail 0 players like this post! Like? |

dictisaurus Tarul watches the placement of each paw, every step carefully thought out so as not to alert the feathered predator. His efforts are well rewarded, the owl doesn't notice him in the slightest. On the one occasion that the bird looked even vaguely in his direction he managed to hop into a bush, blending in... well sort of. His leaves weren't /quite/ the same but close enough! Owls don't tend to pay particularly close attention to foliage anyways. Thanks to his patience he finds the hollow where the owl roosts. A.) Search within the tree's hollow B.) Search the roots surrounding the tree 0 players like this post! Like? |
