After The War - Role Play ThreadIntroductionIt is now the year 2080, around 10 years after the invasion. They came out of nowhere, invaded Earth, attacked all the living things on our planet, and destroyed the moon. We called them "The Ravagers". It took long years of war to drive them out, but only after significant damage to our side. A large population of the life forms on Earth have been wiped out. Almost nothing can grow on Earth anymore and it is a struggle to survive for the remaining humans. Food and fresh water is hard to come by and many buildings we'd try use for shelter have crumbled away into nothing. The destruction of the moon has affected the Earth with significant changes; debris of the moon have crashed down and destroyed many things causing giant craters to form in the ground, eclipses no longer exist, there are only small tides from the larger bodies of water, and the seasons no longer exist making the Earth have a humid climate while making rain scarce. Our technology had advanced during the years of the war and the human survivors have now scavenged whatever they could get. Weapons have become more dangerous and digital tech has become more useful. Technology is scarce and not everyone would have been able to get their hands on it. However, technology does not guarantee a person's survival. Almost nothing will grow and fresh water is not something you can get easily. Will the survivors fight over the remains or will they perish on the now unrecognizable planet we called home? They need to choose quickly because the Ravagers may not have left the planet... Rules- Follow ALL rules on Lioden! This is an on-site role play! (Official LD Rules HERE) - Romance, Drama, Violence, etc. is allowed but all Lioden players are 16 years or older so keep it PG-16! No extreme gore or intimate scenes please! Have it fade to black or something. - LGBTQ+ Supported. If you have a problem, don't join. - This is Semi-Literate! Please post AT LEAST 2 sentences during the role play! We need something to work with and this is not very hard to achieve. - Swearing is allowed just don't overdo it. Nobody likes people or characters who swear too much and unnecessarily. - No Mary/Gary Sues! No overpowered characters! People can be stronger than other people but everybody has weaknesses! - Contact the other player before killing/seriously injuring their character. Don't just say they are suddenly dead because you blasted them or something. - This is a CHILL role play! Post when you can and I'd appreciate it if you could post once a week. If you need to leave or take a break from this just post in the discussion thread or let me know! - I'm not making limited spots yet but make sure you can still handle all your characters if you want to make more than three. Lu "Lulu" Dean Cobbler|Female|Bisexual|17 years old Lu had noticed Logan rushing out in her fore-vision but kept her main focus on Aurelie, still wondering why she didn't shoot her bow at Lu when she was struggling in the water. But that thought was soon tossed to the back of her mind as Lu stepped into knee-deep water where she could still stand up and not have to swim but also made sure to stand in a position where Aurelie couldn't harm anyone with her bow, and if anyone injured lu. The adult retorted sharply, before lowering her weapon in a sign of peace. Trudging slowly to the other side of the lake to talk like Logan had offered, both the girl with knives and man with a gun felt somewhat familiar to her. Lu "Lulu" Dean Cobbler|Female|Bisexual|17 years old Lu was still kind of suspicious of Aurelie but she sort of, kind of, trusted Logan just a little bit. Brushing it off Lu headed back to the cabin to have some more comfort time, and she thought she could use a little bit of shut-eye from her journey here she hadn't slept in about 7 days. Even tho Lu didn't sleep for all that time she didn't feel tired, though she knew it wasn't healthy, and stepped inside the cabin to lay down on the couch. Lu's plans were ruined tho when she saw Aurelie sitting on the couch for some reason she felt strong about Aurelie and didn't trust her, so she narrowed her eyes and slowly sat down on the other side of the couch to Aurelie, her eyes still narrowed, still staring at Aurelie, but after a little while, Lu eventually fell asleep while curled up in a ball. While Lu was asleep she stretched out and accidentally kicked Aurelie waking Lu up, she imminently realized what she was doing and retracted back to her curled up position then sitting up, then getting up, then walking away to go find some food all with an awkward expression on her face. [Hii! I'm so sorry about the inactiveness on my side. It was obvious that Lu didn't trust her, nor really like her, but Aurelie came to the conclusion that the feeling was somewhat mutual. A sharp kick into her side knocked Aurelie out of her thoughts. It seemed purposeful but the timid girl seemed quite embarrassed about it. Narrowing her eyes, she decided to let it go by as if she hadn't felt the jab. The man was exiting the cabin, most likely to let his thoughts freely whirr around in his head. She didn't blame him. But something told her that she wanted to get to know this man, even if it was the basics like his name, age and favourite color! Mumbling a soft 'I'm going outside' to the pair still remaining in the cabin, she allowed herself out the building and went to sit beside Logan. "Hey there. Sorry if I'm disturbing you." She smiled, watching the water ripple and lap over itself over and over again, the trickle giving a sense of calmness. "What's your name?" .Lu "Lulu" Dean Cobbler|Female|Bisexual|17 years old After looking around for a while, trying to find something to snack on, Lu started to suddenly fell ill and her legs started give way and she suddenly fell to her knees, Lu was bent over with her arms starting to feel weak, Lu then started panting and sweating heavily, Lu also felt really hot. Her entire body then started aching and instinct rushed over Lu and she reached to the homemade bandage wrapped around her legs and pulled it off, it didn't heal at all instead it was black, purple, and disgusting, and what was crawling inside was even more horrifying. It was maggots, live...maggots apparently they had crawled inside of her wound without her noticing, neither did Logan or Lizzie. Then came the smell, the smell trapped underneath was rotten death, Lu threw up right then and there and her arms buckled as the maggots in her leg started digging deeper, then she thought... how did they survive the alcohol did they crawl in after? That thought soon rushed over though as her entire body was filled with pain, and Lu was in the back of the cabin so she doubted the others would find her. Lu tried to crawl across the cabin but she was too weak to try and pull herself all the wY there. So lu let out a yelp, a quiet yelp "somebody, help" hoping somebody would come. 0 players like this post! Like? |
