@Nadir I believe I was one of the people who said that myself, though I have seen others say the same. Honestly, I really do think this event has potential but. why remove the old one entirely?


here's a few suggestions (that likely wont be taken into account but bear with me):
• Apedemak is a good ruler to the celestial realm, if a bit strict and arrogant
• Way too overprotective of his only daughter Menhit
• Apollyon is determined to take down Apedemak (make sure to give him and Apedemak conflicting ideals, not one being right and the other being wrong) and thus has been awakened these celestial dragons, such as the Draco Demiurge
• Menhit has a crush on Apollyon
• Tefnut is there and is the one who asks for your help bc Apedemak says hes got it covered but he clearly does not

- From then on, you can still have the branching storylines with alternative endings such as:

• You help Apollyon take over the Celestial Kingdom, using Menhit and the player lion to do so. Funky Dragon-Apollyon maybe? Like, Draco Demiurge takes over him and his consciousness is gone? Menhit is heartbroken, Apedemak dies or something, Tefnut strikes a deal with him to keep the remaining celestial lions alive. Some sort of evil dragon title

• Apollyon does take over, but Menhit stands between him and his father. In this version, Apollyon does genuinely care for Menhit, so he chooses to stay down. Draco Demiurge (who is an antagonist in itself) takes over him so you still have to fight Dragon-Apollyon?
- Version 1 in which you rescue Apollyon and he gets to join the celestial kingdom, perhaps Apedemak sacrifices a lot of his strength to keep him alive (bc despite the strictness Menhit loves him and he loves his daughter). Kinda similar to the old event in which Apedemak sacrificed his strength for the player lion. Apollyon overcomes the influence of the draco demiurge in this astral-like form and ends up King?
- Version 2 in which Apollyon sacrifices himself for Menhit and everyone else and dies taking down Draco with him, maybe by empowering Apedemak to do so? Divine!Apedemak and shenanigans. Menhit is still heartbroken but at least her bf died a hero
- Version 3 in which Apedemak and Player Lion give Menhit the strength to fight Dragon-Apollyon herself and take him down, with her heavenly!form shenanigans. Anyway she saves Apollyon, but both him and Apedemak are weakened so she becomes Queen instead with Apollyon as a consort.

• The "Tefnut Ending", aka the equivalent of the "help Apedemak realize he's a lil crazy!" story. You and Tefnut work together to convince Apedemak and Apollyon to work together to fight against the Draco Demiurge (no posession needed) and maybe thanks to some of her magic they succeed (this isnt to make Tefnut a weak character but I always found her strength to be in keeping the family together, y'know?). also give Tefnut a power up form bc my girl deserves it mkay?

heck, in future Julys you could have encounters based on what would happen in the future, like Menhit having cubs (leonid, stratosphere, etc bases? i always loved how the special july bases were the bases of the NPCs), Tefnut and Apedemak together... Heck you could throw the little demiurge there as a bit of a good guy (he honestly looks the part of a tefnut/apedemak cub more than Menhit), secondary character. And the July storyline is considered a "lets remember the big battle that happened in the past" so you could add new encounters that develop the NPCs beyond the original storyline. You'd have a "canon" ending (maybe the one in which Apedemak and Apollyon work together), but players could still choose the non-canon ones for rewards and for something different.

Additionally, for gameplay (this doesnt even need to be connected to the storyline suggestion, just in general):
- Cloud Forest becomes the Celestial Kingdom, you still pay items to explore it for Axion Cores
- You could still have the Draco Constellation explore, but instead of paying MS for each step, you have a daily fee.. or other things to spend your MS with. Collecting MS wouldnt be annoying bc you could have story missions based on the real world and within the Draco Zone, and normal explore would have all the NPC event encounters and battles to make it fun
- If you add more Zones, you could do something like the Zimbabwe Explore in which you pay a fixed fee for X amount of steps in these special zones (Draco being reserved for storyline purposes), where special encounters and/or fights drop items like how you could find them in Zimbabwe.

obs: we'd have to drop the whole whisper thing but it could always be brought back in november!


Again, I doubt this will change anything. Its just an example of how you CAN merge both events without giving up the art/work put into this new version of the event. It would be a lot of work, and admittedly a bit similar to June, but like. At least you would keep the characters and demigod!lion "flavor" of July without scrapping the new artwork entirely. Besides, July was here first so shhhh :'D

... and you could start small with maybe one or two story branches and no "zimbabwe" type zones, and add more as time goes by. Anyway, still feel like this wont change much of anything, but I would really appreciate it if the devs at least consider it <3

It's kind of weird how yall didn't address the REAL main issues that people have. The storyline is just one problem, the drop rates, the difficulty, and the overall balance are the others that you just ignored. The fights are still way too hard and the drop rates for the MS and AC are too low! Please address these next year.

After seeing how hard the new currency is to get because of the weird mechanic of needing Shards before you can even try to get them it is sad that currency drops and the balance and difficulty of the fights are just completely ignored in this update...

Also, looking at the survey I honestly don't understand why there aren't multiple options to get the apps? You literally went the easy route and did what the majority wanted. If you had also included a SB option, you would have made more then half of the community happy.

It's really disappointing to see that on Lioden apparently a third of the community is good enough.

I do genuinely think AC prices for apps is appropriate. It's just the battles themselves that're unbalanced so it's harder to get AC.

After doing a bit of grinding the past 2 days I have to agree with some of the other players in regards to the battles in celestial explore. I myself do not have very high stated kings on either account. They are actually both under 200, but I have noticed a very high rate in which I will miss compared to the NPCs. It has become rather frustrating to lose so many battles because I keep missing my attacks. And it's consecutive misses, like I think I've missed upwards of 4 times in a row on a single fight.

I do believe some adjusting is needed to better balance the NPC battles. I know this is not a quick fix soyt of thing, but I'm hoping some adjustments will be made soon. Keep up the great work team! I have faith this event will become something awesome and all that is needed is some patience.

So, based on the survey results, when are the mechanics and currency drops going to be fixed? Or do we need to finish out the event with this much frustration and only cross our fingers for next year?

^ there isn't much time left in the month and I really want to buy more than one app before it's over. the low MS drop rate is really frustrating, especially AC are still so rare in celestial explore. please, if possible, adjust the drops before the month ends.

This event is meh.
Many have said alot of what i'm thinking....

July was an event i love doing and i felt truly into the story. It felt personal and interesting as well as feeling down to earth. It's lions and that's what alot of these events seem to be Not doing now.
...This one Is indeed Like Wolvden...I think you guys are trying Too hard to make them different that yer making them alike without realizing and in the wrong way.

Space and dragons are okay.... But i miss the old characters and their story was fine. There so much you can do to add to it/continue it hell Ice's idea above is an awesome way to tie them as one. LD doesn't feel much about lions this month and i now dislike this month. I Like snakes and all that but this is Too much of the same theme and it's getting boring.
Even with a story, it'll Never be what you guys had before....Years down the road people are gonna wonder who the hell the old characters are and have to listen to other people or read the wiki If the old event info is still there.

I love stories that suck you in and make you truly feel like you're part of the experience like July did before.
I love when characters are unique and have a part of them that feels alive as well as gain believable development throughout the chapters and such as time passes.

July Had it and now it's gone....
June is the only one that has something close to it for me and it keeps my attention enough.
July, it didn't matter if i knew the story, I Always read it each time i did it with as much interest as i did the first time it came out.

I Am curious to see if this one can come close to what you guys had but at the same time, i'm scared and worried.
I Love this and Wolvden and appreciate all you guys do. I rather keep to myself so this is big for me honestly hell even though i was a tester for Wolvden i was and still am scared of you guys. I Should've spoken up about a few things that was in the game that could've and should've been fixed/done but i didn't due to the trauma i recalled and it kept me quiet. That time, i was the coward and now WD has problems people have to fight you on and it feels like you don't hear them there at times.

Anyway, Do what ya want and we can hope things are worth this rehaul (Peeps on here are Very vocal and strong so i indeed hope fer ya in that aspect :"D)
