Welcome to Athena's Adoption Center!
 We (the broodmothers) take in and adopt out unwanted babies! RULES: 1. DO NOT adopt if the plan is to chase/kill/sell or otherwise. *When adopting, please use NAMES in the RP response, and then put the links at the end. Using links in place of names makes it hard to read, but it helps me keep them in order if you include a link at the end. **BROODMOTHERS ARE NOT ADOPTABLE. A lioness covered in purple and followed closely by a dog of some sort enters the den. Amethyst nods a greeting to Peach Butterfly with a tiny nod. Gazing around with her soft eyes, they stop on a cub with a pelt similar to her Queen's and a shiny glacier blue cape marking along her back. She smiles softly and nudges the cub to get her attention to follow her. "May I bring little Irene home to my pride?" Amethyst brushed her tail on the cub's flank. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Peach dips her head to the fluffy lioness first, "yes, certainly. I'm honored that you find one of our girls to be as beautiful as you like. I will fetch her in just a moment." Next, she turned to Amethyst, dipping her head again. "Wonderful to see you again, dear. I'm happy you've chosen her, and I'm sure your pride will be a good home. And remember dear, if you ever need help with that Center of yours, me and my broodmothers have a bit of experience of our own." With that she chuckles, before turning away and padding into the cave to find the two girls. She returned a moment later with an adolescent and a cub on her heels. The two stalked up and looked between the two lionesses, and after an awkward moment the figured out who they were to go with. 0 players like this post! Like? |

This time, Moogly could barely even walk. Blood trailed behind her and two adolescents had to help her. When she had made it to the edge of Coy Fish's territory she stopped and laid down, breathless. "Go on, take your siblings. You'll be happy there." She had shown the adols the way days before, making sure to scent mark the path. She watched as the cubs she had tried so hard to protect left her behind. They continuously glanced back, but they didn't dare try to go back to her. They knew what would happen if Fish saw them across the line that marked the end of their territory. ((There are a lot of cubs this time and two recently become adols, are you willing to take them all?)) 0 players like this post! Like? |

The broodmothers were all in the cave with their own charges when they heard a commotion outside. A heavily pregnant lioness adorned with hyena furs kept the little ones in the cave as the others left. Most of the pride was already gathered, whispering to one another. Peach Butterfly strode through the crowd to find the source of the crowds unease. Near the camp entrance, a smaller group was gathered. A few adolescents, and a handful of cubs hiding behind them and between their legs. One of her own pride, an adolescent she recognized, was crouched a small distance away from them, speaking softly. Seeing Peach and the broodmothers, she slowly padded to them, careful not to scare the newcomers. “Moogly sent them, too,” she said quietly as she gazed up at the lionesses with foggy eyes. “He’s still hurting her and she’s still trying to save us.” She turned to a different broodmother, heavily scarred and wearing rabbit pelts. “Mama, please! We can’t leave her there, we can’t…” Peach gestured to the other broodmothers, and they gently nudged away the pale adolescent, trying to calm her. Finally, she could focus on the young ones. Slowly she approached, speaking gently, “hello little ones, we’re here to help you, understand?” After some coaxing she managed to get them all to the Adoption Center cave. (absolutely! i just cleared out all of my own cubs that I don’t need and since it’s a friday I should have more time to advertise the center so most of them should get adopted soon. also the adol i used in the rp is one of the ones you sent me that i decided to keep, so that why she knows moogly^^) 0 players like this post! @Alana Amaranta raised an eyebrow and chuckled, “yes, certainly. I’ll inform our Head Broodmother that she’s been picked,” she said in a pleased tone. Gently shaking the cub from her, she stood and trotted over to another lioness. They spoke for a moment, and when Amaranta returned she bid farewell to the kind male. @Mongoose (I would love that! -King strutted forward, carrying a cub by its scruff, a few lionesses from his pride followed behind carrying 2 more cubs. A young adolescent trailer behind them. King gestured towards the cubs, "If I may, may I take these cubs to be raised in my pride? They will be raised fine.
