 This thread is part of the Ilanga’s Adoptions clan, although anyone can adopt cubs here. Please check it out, we’d love to have some new members! You are still welcome to request cubs, but keep an eye out for future changes! Welcome! This is one of Lioden’s longest-existing cub adoption threads, created in October 2018. It has since expanded into multiple shelters and a clan. It’s named after the owner’s first broodmother, Ilanga. All of the cubs here are free for the taking, as long as they are marked as “Adoptable”. All you have to do is write a quick roleplay, even if it’s just a couple sentences long. Once you’ve read the rules, you can speak to one of the broodmothers at the adoption center and let them know which cub(s) you would like! Rules -Please DO NOT kill/tree/sell a cub you get from us! They are looking for permanent homes. -You can adopt as many cubs as you like! Just make sure that you can actually care for all of them. -To make things easier for us, please specify the name of the shelter or broodmother you are adopting from in your roleplay. -You don’t need to include a link to the cub, just their name. -We generally have a first-come, first-serve policy, but if someone puts more effort into their roleplay or message, we might choose them instead. -Please do not argue with the decision of a shelter owner. However, if you have a problem (such as a cub not arriving, or receiving the wrong cub), don’t be afraid to reach out to us! -If you break the rules, we may prevent you from adopting a cub here in the future. -We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. Born during the poaching season, Vikela lost many of her family and friends to vicious attacks when she was just a cub. She witnessed firsthand the deaths of countless cubs, and made it her mission to protect as many as she could in the future. She trained as a warrior alongside the pride’s other guards before becoming a broodmother, and as a result, she can seem quite tough and intimidating at first sight, especially to outsiders, who she distrusts. However, despite being a bit overprotective at times, she is popular among her pride and a hero to the cubs she raises. Once you’ve gained her trust, she will be loyal until her last breath.
Despite being an elderly lioness, blind in one eye and beginning to lose her hearing, Khatiba is as sharp as ever. She may not be as fast as she used to be, but she keeps a watchful eye on the playing cubs from her resting spot. When they grow tired of running and wrestling, they gather around her to hear one of her stories. She loves to tell the cubs about legends passed down through the generations, of vicious battles and ancient gods. She is gentle and kind, balancing out Vikela’s fiery energy. You may have met her daughter Kuhle at the clan’s stockpile.
Amina is a very trustworthy lioness. She would die before she saw any of the cubs she protected be harmed. Her goal in life is to find a good home for each and every cub she can. She is confident, kind, and most important to her, gentle. If any cub gets hurt in her presence she will be sure to rush to it and care for it to the best of her ability. Though she may get suspicious of some lions, she does her best to trust every lion and lioness she comes across.

The leopon walked in, and sniffed the air. She missed coming to this place, she had to take care of her sister and brother at home, it was hard, but having cubs to take care of lifts off all that stress. “Yes, hello, I’m looking for a male this time, if you don’t mind, i’ll look around....” She shook her tail, and spotted Rusty. The leopon looked, and smiled “I would love to have this cub, the king would certainly love him!” Lenore shook her fur, and looked at Cula. Karstaag approached the group again, his scent comforting and familiar to the group by now. From heir to king was a long process, but his presence never changed amongst them. He smiled, looking over at one of the cubs with a smile, darting his eyes between them and one of the broodmothers. "Good evening ladies!" @Cami Amabala glanced over to the cub the lioness was speaking about. “Oh, that’s Cookie,” she said. “Of course you can take her. I’m glad she’s finally found a home.” @Cheøl Cula nodded. “Yes, I just joined the pride recently. I was born without claws, so I was unable to hunt. Fortunately they needed another broodmother, so I’ve found a way to contribute to the pride.” She paused for a moment, smiling at the reddish cub before she continued. “Like me, he was born different from his pridemates. I’m glad he will have a new family who truly appreciates him.” She gave the cub a quick lick before he hurried out of the den towards his new pride. @Romeo (I’m sorrrrrrryyyyyyyyyyy that other person posted right before you asking for the same cub  ) 0 players like this post! Baekhyun's eyes closed briefly, her mouth twitching into a sad frown. "My condolences to the broodmothers," She said after a moment of silence. "I have heard Isiphepho was the one who mentored most of you." Unexpectedly, Baekhyun leaned forward for a moment to nudge gently at Vikela's side, before turning away to stare off at the setting sun. "I'll have to go now. Farewell." Peaches’ tail twitched as she entered the den. She’d recently lost a cub and her king had mentioned that this pride was adopting out cubs. Her eyes searched the den trying to find the perfect cub. She spots two cubs with peculiar coats. One of the young lionesses notices this and runs up to her. “Hello! I’m Sprint! Who are you?” She asks. Peaches does the best purr she could and replied, “ Hello little one. I’m Peaches from Milika’s pride. I was wondering who’s the lioness with the red fur?” “Oh thats Ruby! She’s been here for a bit,” Sprint tells her. Peaches nods and looks over at Amabala,” Hi there! I was wondering if Sprint was still adoptable. And if not if I could take Ruby home with me. Also we have a male cub that we are unable to care for. Is there a way we can bring him here?” 0 players like this post! Like? |

Karstaag smiled once again, approaching the cub-smell-filled site with one thought on his mind. Even now, his muscles were more built out, and now the emblem on his shoulders and upper back were vibrant as the moon itself. He looked over them, almost automatically choosing two, not even needing to interact with them..perhaps he'd seem them beforehand on the former visit? He looked over at them, "Hello ladies," His voice had thickened and deepened, obviously becoming more soothing and..attractive, per say? Well, I don't know how broodmothers would react to such a thing, but a detail I felt nessecary, "I'd enjoy taking in Aster and Delilah. Something recent has happened and a few of my lionesses have to be sent to the Gr- I mean," He flinched as he seemed to have messed up his sentence..what was he going to say? Oh well, it didn't matter at the end as he simply corrected himself, "The nature preserve. We've had too many poachers running bout," Despite his slip up earlier, he didn't seem too anxious on fixing it..how odd. Perhaps something was happening behind closed doors? Cula wondered what the king had been about to say, but she nodded anyway. “Yes, you can have them both,” she said. Glancing over, she saw that Vikela was clearly listening in on the conversation, although the fiery orange lioness pretended to be focused on something else. Amabala was watching too, always concerned about the wellbeing of the pride’s allies. Darting her gaze away from theirs, Cula gave each cub a quick nuzzle before they happily followed Karstaag out of the den. She considered following them to find out more, but she knew she was supposed to stay near the den, as her lack of claws left her quite vulnerable outside of the camp. 0 players like this post! Dyros strides forward confidently, walking up to a lovely lioness, heavy with cubs. "I was out and about and heard pray tell that you all had a bit of a cub problem." He looks around the overrun den, toys strewn about and shredded. "I've come to take a few off your paws. Specifically Bean, Shy, and Stripes." He glances outside the cave, meeting ＫＡＲＳＴＡＡＧ's gaze. (MANGE U ABSOLUTE :o) Aphrodite giggled happily, making the stranger king feel less..pressured, Karstaag could be quite the intimidating figure. She’d know best, afterall, being his favorite of the broodmothers. Well, maybe beside Marifal. But anyhow, she nodded quickly with her aroma wafting through the air, a few males commenting on her, ahem, “haunches”. She calmly told them the new king’s name, introducing them to him. A old lioness made her way into the cave, taking her time. The sound of the jewerly on her with every step. The pink lioness had some blue mixed in with her fur. What stood out the most was her gentle features. Her body was relaxed and once inside, the lioness spoke. "Excuse me, my name Cherry. I was sent to find a cub that would fit in with the pride. Our pride is very accepting new comers." Taking a moment, she noticed a cub. "What is that cub's name?" She lifted her paw to show her interest in a certian cub. (Hope this is okay.
