 This thread is part of the Ilanga’s Adoptions clan, although anyone can adopt cubs here. Please check it out, we’d love to have some new members! You are still welcome to request cubs, but keep an eye out for future changes! Welcome! This is one of Lioden’s longest-existing cub adoption threads, created in October 2018. It has since expanded into multiple shelters and a clan. It’s named after the owner’s first broodmother, Ilanga. All of the cubs here are free for the taking, as long as they are marked as “Adoptable”. All you have to do is write a quick roleplay, even if it’s just a couple sentences long. Once you’ve read the rules, you can speak to one of the broodmothers at the adoption center and let them know which cub(s) you would like! Rules -Please DO NOT kill/tree/sell a cub you get from us! They are looking for permanent homes. -You can adopt as many cubs as you like! Just make sure that you can actually care for all of them. -To make things easier for us, please specify the name of the shelter or broodmother you are adopting from in your roleplay. -You don’t need to include a link to the cub, just their name. -We generally have a first-come, first-serve policy, but if someone puts more effort into their roleplay or message, we might choose them instead. -Please do not argue with the decision of a shelter owner. However, if you have a problem (such as a cub not arriving, or receiving the wrong cub), don’t be afraid to reach out to us! -If you break the rules, we may prevent you from adopting a cub here in the future. -We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. Born during the poaching season, Vikela lost many of her family and friends to vicious attacks when she was just a cub. She witnessed firsthand the deaths of countless cubs, and made it her mission to protect as many as she could in the future. She trained as a warrior alongside the pride’s other guards before becoming a broodmother, and as a result, she can seem quite tough and intimidating at first sight, especially to outsiders, who she distrusts. However, despite being a bit overprotective at times, she is popular among her pride and a hero to the cubs she raises. Once you’ve gained her trust, she will be loyal until her last breath.
Despite being an elderly lioness, blind in one eye and beginning to lose her hearing, Khatiba is as sharp as ever. She may not be as fast as she used to be, but she keeps a watchful eye on the playing cubs from her resting spot. When they grow tired of running and wrestling, they gather around her to hear one of her stories. She loves to tell the cubs about legends passed down through the generations, of vicious battles and ancient gods. She is gentle and kind, balancing out Vikela’s fiery energy. You may have met her daughter Kuhle at the clan’s stockpile.
Amina is a very trustworthy lioness. She would die before she saw any of the cubs she protected be harmed. Her goal in life is to find a good home for each and every cub she can. She is confident, kind, and most important to her, gentle. If any cub gets hurt in her presence she will be sure to rush to it and care for it to the best of her ability. Though she may get suspicious of some lions, she does her best to trust every lion and lioness she comes across.

Bernou, a mauve colored lioness from King Bhaltair’s pride, approached the cave filled with young cubs and adolescents. Word had spread throughout her homelands that there was a pride who adopted cubs out to worthy lions. Recently one of her fellow lionesses had suffered an illness which evidentially killed her only offspring. The lioness was filled with grief and refused to speak with anyone. Bernou has conversed with Bhaltair, deciding that it would be best to find a single cub for the female to raise. Turning towards the lioness with orange and black fur-Vikela- ”Excuse me ma’am, is this the Pride of Singing Wings?” 0 players like this post! Like? |

King Kerk, trailed by two females- his queen and broodmother, gazed at the new territory. It was true, the wind seened to sing an eerie, but pleasant tune to any lion who wished to listen. The king was not stunning looking, of a chocolate brown, but he was if a fairly good build and his face always had a forgiving, caring look. To those who knew him, he was known as Father Kerk, founder and caregiver of the Jagged Mountains Pride. The group of lions eventually came up to the place where the kits who needed to be adopted stated- where Jerk eyed a kit of rather stunning looks. "Well, hello young one, what would be your name?" (Hey! I finally have plenty of space again and am able to accept donations of cubs. I also have plenty to be adopted, so come check them out! I’d also like to say that even when I don’t have time to write a rp-style response, I would still like for people to roleplay to get the cub. Lord Beron had returned to the cave full of cubs. He stood silently in the center, towering over the regular lions in the den. There were far fewer cubs here than last time, and he was about to turn around and leave when one caught his eye. She had pale tan fur with dark stripes and fiery orange accents.
