Right, so I had an idea. Female lionesses will (probably) not get primal, meaning it would pass exclusively from the male line. That makes it VERY limited though since most people don't like male cubs/don't have the space for them and would only end up chasing or sex changing them. Also, submales can't breed and not everyone (me for example) wants a primal King. Solution: Why don't we have it so that the females CARRY the gene for Primal but rarely, or never express it. Think of it as a sex-linked thing, like color blindness. Women typically don't get it because it's found on the 'X' gene. If you've got a bad 'X' gene a good 'X' gene will take over and the women's vision will be fine. Two bad X's and yeah-- you'll be colorblind and any sons you have will also be. Your daughters will carry it. However, if you're a guy, you've only got one X so you're only option IS to be colorblind. So maybe Females can have expressed primal (rare than male primal) with a definite (or higher) pass rate to sons (the rate of male to female cubs is roughly 1/3) and carried primal (commonality: ???) which they can inherit from their fathers and pass on to any sons. How I'm seeing it: Base Pass Rate (from father) 5% (to sons) 1-2.5% (to daughters - carried) .5-1% (to daughters - express) --- Base Pass Rate (from mother) 3% (from Carrier mother to son) 2% (from Carrier mother to daughter:carried) 1.5% (from carrier mother to daughter:expressed) 7% (from Expressed Mother to son) 5% (from Carrier mother to son) 4% (from Expressed Mother to daughter:carried) 2% (from Expressed Mother to daughter:expressed) EDIT 1: Since most people favor a solo male pass consider the gene being exclusively male BUT females can carry it? This is an idea already in the works and the numbers above (minus expressed lionesses) still apply to the idea. I don't know, thoughts? Suggestions? |

I agree that females should have chance of expressing the primal mutation even if its a small chance. 0 players like this post! Like? |

@Jac I'm pretty neutral on that. If they do, fine, if they don't, fine. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Males can afford to have 1 mutation only passable from them. Edit:(There was another argument to this not a very good one, Lol) 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 01/01/17 @ 08:17:30 by Phantom StarsX (#92256) |

This game has no default goal. Your goal is what you make it. For example, my goal is to get the bloodlines of my first male and his queen out as far and wide as possible. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Lol sorry jack, i was sleep deprived last night. I had offered 2 arguments to your last comment, but you made a fairly good point, so I removed it. Sorry for the confusion, I lose the ability to think after a certain hour. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I personally think that an only male mutation is good, even if it shows only on females it should be like leopons (where the male can never pass it). It put value on male cubs and gives a use/value to the Red Cock item which nobody uses. 0 players like this post! Like? |

"It puts value on male cubs" doesn't fix the problem of the mutation being incredibly limited. Also, unless primal can randomly occur, it only puts value on sons of primal kings not males as a whole. 0 players like this post! Like? |

It gives any male in the game the potential to become valuable because you can apply it. Rarer things are desirable, if you make something more common it end ends up being worthless anyway. It's the same as having a blind mutation, because they can't do anything but people love them regardless. All mutations are just aesthetics in the end. 0 players like this post! Like? |
