It's not even bad that they make it a GB dump or "hope-and-never-get" if you dont spend them...

But the amount of GB needed to be spent to get one is ridiculous. The rarity of the item is EXTREME. X.X
Considering it will become inevadibly common (can pass from males - so it WILL eventually be common, regardless of how rare the original item is) I dont see the reason to make Mukombero so insanely rare... It will only maybe add 2-3 weeks of extra hype and high prices to the mutation but wont keep it rare forever, or even for long! So why for the love of everything make it impossible to find?! Why not let people just enjoy their cool new muties that will be common eventually anyway?!

CarlaJager, do not feel bad about spending money on the game, it needs the support, but feel free to voice your feelings about RNG! This is not about the pay to play, its about the, sorry please play again RNG they have started implementing over the last year or so.

Ill give you an example:

Every February, Tim Hortons Coffee (Canada) has a "Roll up the rim to Win" contest where people can win a prize, like a free coffee or a doughnut, or even a car! But through the years, the odds of winning have gone out the window. Its so bad now, that when the contest comes around each year where people are starting to say "Roll up to lose"

McDonalds however, has a great method implemented all year, buy X number of coffees and get the next one free. Its a goal and a reward. If I am loyal and spend my money at their store, they get a freebie now and again, or at least they are getting rewarded for sticking around.

The new RNG they are putting out with explore rare items is a "Roll up to lose" What people here are saying, they want something for the effort, and are very bitter. They are getting nothing at all. Especially loyal players who invest real money. Or players who work really hard all year to get event items to sell so they can keep playing.

So dont feel, bad, but feel free to say "We dont like this business model!"

And yeah, I see what you’re saying. I’ve spent more than I should have this month and honestly I shouldn’t have bothered. In a sense I don’t feel bad since I’m helping with keeping the game alive, but in another sense I’m just kind of bleh.
I knew it would be low due to wanting to keep rarity- and I get it- but when it’s this bad it’s just sort of disheartening.
