this isn’t about what YOU want specifically, come on now. this is about the entirety of Lioden. Some people hate the angel/devil event but don’t participate. I’m not Jewish so it doesn’t bother me but I can see how other people would feel being “left out”.

OP celebrates Hanukkah and wanted some sort of representation other than Christmas because they felt left out. That's it. OP certainly doesn't think that having a simple decor or encounter on this lion sim is mocking or disrespectful. Are you forgetting that they suggested this in the first place for that reason?

“I’m atheist and know how important it is for some people in my life” - that’s the same with Christianity by the way. Some are atheist but you hear all these “Jesus saved my life” stories. You can’t be atheist and argue against a decor on a lion game that *may have* religious ties.

guys, remember to keep the convo civil :) even though about 95% believe we should have a menorah decor/encounter, we should still respect each others opinions. I would hate for this topic to be locked.

however, the argument, "if we have to let one in, we have to let in all the rest!" isn't a very good point. use it on something just as controversial like sexuality. LD has made pride feathers for many sexualities and preferences.

I'm sorry if my opinion came headstrong and might have alienated some users, it's a sensitive and passionate topic for me, which I still stand by what I said.
Although I'd understand why some may need or want this type of representation, I still don't think it belongs on LD.

If this doesn’t belong on LD, Christmas shouldn’t either along with any other type of Christian holiday/decor/reference on the site (of which there are plenty)
