Mutated - Role Play ThreadIntroductionHumans. They thought they were the most powerful creatures on Earth. But of course they were proven wrong. Another species, who were very much like humankind, stepped forward and revealed themselves. The members of this species are believed to be the next stage of evolution and have gained extraordinary powers. They were known to humans as Mutants. But humans are not known for their acceptance. Many, but not all, believed that the Mutants were a threat and the Mutants were forced back into hiding. But some Mutants weren't interested in hiding and decided to fight back against human rule. These Mutants believe that they should be the superior species on Earth and will do whatever is necessary to rule. The tension between Mutants and humans is rising. A war may be coming. Are you a human? Or are you a Mutant? But more importantly... whose side are you on? Rules- Follow ALL rules on Lioden! This is an on-site role play! (Official LD Rules HERE) - Romance, Drama, Violence, etc. is allowed but all Lioden players are 16 years or older so keep it PG-16! No extreme gore or intimate scenes please! Have it fade to black or something. - LGBTQ+ Supported. If you have a problem, don't join. - This is Semi-Literate! Please post AT LEAST 2 sentences during the role play! We need something to work with and this is not very hard to achieve. - Swearing is allowed just don't overdo it. Nobody likes people or characters who swear too much and unnecessarily. - No Mary/Gary Sues! No overpowered characters! People can be stronger than other people but everybody has weaknesses! - Contact the other player before killing/seriously injuring their character. Don't just say they are suddenly dead because you blasted them or something. - This is a CHILL role play! Post when you can and I'd appreciate it if you could post once a week. If you need to leave or take a break from this just post in the discussion thread or let me know! - I'm not making limited spots yet but make sure you can still handle all your characters if you want to make more than three. "I'm guessing you'll have to wait until tomorrow if you want to get your keys." Logan glanced around his apartment. It didn't usually get messy because he never really had much stuff to leave around. The furniture had come with the apartment and he'd only brought some food along and his clothes. Logan glanced at Taya, he was pretty sure she'd be okay if someone else came. It was probably because nobody annoyed him in the bar too much and because he'd managed to sleep last night. "Well I just buy what I need most of the time," replied Logan, "If you guys want anything you can dig around in the cupboard or the fridge. I restocked them both yesterday." They're in the cupboard and the coffee machine is just on the counter." With Logan it was always coffee or beer. Or just water if he didn't feel like having either. The news channel appeared and Logan frowned at the TV. Bodies have been found around the town and buildings have been attacked and raided in some places. The government was blaming mutants for the chaos and they were warning all citizens to be alert and to stay away from mutants. Logan frowned but wasn't surprised that the government was blaming the mutants. Now that mutants had been discovered they became the reason for every single incident. 0 players like this post! Aurelie made some coffee and walked over to next to Logan, sitting next to him. "More things that's mutants' fault, huh? Not surprised." She shrugged, laying her head on his shoulder and sipping her coffee. She closed an eye, keeping one open to look at the news reports. But she couldn't really help but fall asleep. I don't think they'll change anytime soon," said Logan. He felt a weight on his shoulder and found Aurelie already asleep. It probably didn't take her very long, Logan knew that her job was tiring. Logan stayed on the couch and continued to watch the news. Apparently some building got attacked by a gang of mutants wanting to "dominate all humans". Logan thought that would be pretty ridiculous. Logan carefully let Aurelie lie flat on the couch and gently took the coffee mug in her hand and set it on the table. Logan then headed to the counter and poured himself a cup of coffee.
