This is (LOOSELY) based off of my adoption thread located here! This will be edited lots before I am satisfied with it, but ya know! This is where the RP will happen, I request that we try to keep OOC chat in the OOC forum, but I won't enforce it too hardcore. Some Rules: - All 18+ actions are to be fade to black - nothing involving minors and adults - Please put a warning before any gore, mutilation, or descriptive harm (self or otherwise) - Do not have a response that describes how someone else's character reacts UNLESS this has been previously okay'ed by the original player Each pride will be listed with a link to their respective page in the R&T Prides Forum. It is up to the creator of said pride to update it as people join! However, if they are anything like me, they may need occasionally reminders lol. But don't be pushy!! I will try to update this ASAP as people join and switch up their roles as well!! As a reminder, I would love people joining my pride just remember that the lion/lioness either HAS to have a mutation or fake it somehow to be allowed in the pride. He lives out near the Oasis that is unclaimable by any prides. That is monkey only territory. Now that time has passed, Jack is curled up in the sun. He had spent time carefully washing the blood from his fur and claws because of how much blood he got all over himself when he had brought the dead lioness back to camp. He was disgusted with what he had done, but he was glad that he was able to save a cub from being slaughtered. he clicked over his paw once more, feeling as though the blood was still clinging to his fur. 0 players like this post! Kimba slowly but surely approached Jack, the kitten cleaned and passed out. He growled in greeting, still unsure how he felt about Jack. A lion with overgrown claws getting show more favoritism than himself? It made him want to slit his throat. But he was too squeamish and even the sight of blood was enough to make his legs go weak. "Here." Kimba dropped the Ferus cub on the ground, wincing a bit when she woke with a start from the fall. He had probably just sprained her leg, and Sunbaked didn't have a healer. "Coy wants to see how you raise her. She will need a denmother, not Moogly." He spat the lioness's name, as if it was a curse, "Arune already thinks that is where he, she...fuck, where they belong. Jack starts slightly when he is approached by Kimba. He hissed the tiniest bit when Kimba just drops the cub, and gently bring her to his side, licking her. He noses at her leg and after a moment let’s out a sigh of relief before returning his attention, now slightly more grumpy than before, to Kimba. “I will get her a good broodmother who will care for her. Do not ever drop my cub like that again or you will face my wrath, Coy’s brother or not.”He says, and his tone makes it clear he means it. Kimba looks like he wants to say something, to snap back at Jack and attempt to put him in what he perceives to be his place. But he realizes that he did in fact fuck up. The cub is obviously a primal variant, which is a mutation that Coy values above nearly everything else. If he had truly hurt the cub, he would be punished- brother or not. He swallows and nods. "Forgot how fragile cubs are." He tried to joke, the laugh cracking in two and sounded painfully false, "I'll, uh, I'll leave you to it, then." He nods his head a few times, remembering how long Jack's claws are, and tries to avoid running as he turns around. He doesn't want Jack to know he is even the slightest bit fearful, and prays that the guard doesn't rat him out to Coy Fish. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Talus smells the blood before he sees it. Enough of it to make one's stomach churn. As he slinks along to the edge of Sunbaked's territory, he finds the remains of the earlier massacre. Not even a body left behind... He just wants to help. He can heal, sure, but he cannot exactly raise the dead. He came here to help any who managed to escape this monster. But...he's starting to wonder what the point is. A mongoose hops out of his mane, greedily lapping at the blood on the ground. Gross. "Stop that, Nimble." *previously* Knawbones hides downwind from the large Smilus male and his scouts hoping to stay out of sight. He sighs, this is something he is used to. Hes seen it so many times, done in so many different ways it hardly fazes him anymore. One cub was grabbed and handed to another male before he heads off toward wht he assumes is their territory. He hunkers down and watches the adol amongst the group, a taigon he can tell but the scent is muddled in a way he cant explain, the larger primal male and the other male, who from this distance loosk like a typical lion, execute the cubs before the large smilus kills the mother with quick percision. Knawbones settles down and waits for the majority of the lions to leave back toward the pridelands with one bolting off into the distance. He will wait a while before approaching the carnage to make sure thay arent coming back, food is food after all. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Coy Fish makes it halfway back to the pride lands when he suddenly stops, ears twitching. He could've sworn he had heard something scuttling behind him. He shakes his head, probably a mongoose. There had been an annoying amount of those lately. Fast and ferocious little buggers, annoyingly straining to kill. His claws unsheathed as he he looked at his paws, covered in bite marks from the last mongoose he had killed. Why did they keep coming into his territory? He grumbled, they needed more males, more guards and scouts to patrol and keep these pesky vermin out. ((Coy and any of my other characters won't spot you unless you give the okay! Knawbones looks from his pearch behind a large rock to see the other lion, with a mongoose? How odd. He debates meeting the other lion but he still has the blood of the leftovers arounf his muzzle and doesnt want to be mistaken for the monster that did the killing. He sighs, 'better to know hes friendly than to aleinate a potential ally, besides with how slight he is i doubt he could over power me.' Stepping from behind his hiding place he calls out to the other lion hoping to not scare them. "You, lion, were you the lionesses friend? If you were im sorry to say shes gone, and so are her cubs. Tho i beleive one survived." He stands a ways away. He knows how he looks, with the blood on his muzzle hes a gruesome sight. He stays where he is waiting for the slighter males reply, calmly trying to lick the blood from his cheeks. (edited for spelling) 0 players like this post! ((I'm fine with him being spotted by anyone, that goes for Knawbones as well!)) He nudges Nimble, letting her climb back into his mane. He doesn't need to lose another friend to this, not right now. After a cursory search for any remaining cubs, he has to give up. There is no helping this time. That seems to be happening more and more often, as of late...but he just can't bring himself to give up hope. One never knows what tomorrow may bring... He looks at the smaller lion and shakes his head. "Not here, The king of this territory took it, was to far away to see it. I only saw the killing. And i suopse helped with cleanup." He nods to the bloody patch on the ground. "No use letting meat go to waste, seems harsh but," he shrugs one large sholder, "been hungry down to my bones before, not to picky now." He eyes the small lion, he seems warry, almost to warry. Maybe he should have let him leave, but its to late do regret that now. "Why are you here anyway? The King here doesnt like many, and enjoys the company of fewer from what ive seen. Tho ive been keeping to the outskirts of his territory." 0 players like this post! Like? |

Knaw watches the othe lion back up a pace, obviously spooked. He guesses it was probably the canibal thing. "Ive never killed other than self defence, but meat is meat. It seems wrong to many but when you are starving you eat what you can without complaint. Im more of a scavenger than a hunter, i admit im lazy. But id spend more energy hunting than i would scavenging at my size so i eat what i can find. At least this way their deaths arent a waste." He says it with a finality in his voice. This lion doesnt know him, doesnt know the sheer spine bending, bone knawing pain of starvation hes felt, who is he to judge him. Knawbones turns away from the smaller lion and looks over his shoulder, "If you dont plan on doing anythign for the pride beyond this border id move on before the King catches you. Hes not fond of non-muts from what i gather, or you can stay. Not my territory so i dont really care, just know if your in trouble ill help if i can. Outcasts stick together after all." He walks back to the rock he was shading himself in and settles down, still watching the other lion. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Harbinger was just finishing up his rounds, returning back the way he had left, when he caught the scent of two males. Fresh. He stopped to scent the tracks they had left behind, it appeared they had been heading towards the territory. A wild grin broke out on his face, more prey? He barely held back a giggle as he slunk forward. His size made it nearly impossible to sneak, but the dry and struggling plants helped him blend in, especially with his coat and markings. He was definitely closing in on them, he could almost scent herbs as well which confused him. 0 players like this post! Like? |
