The tom frowned, casting a sympathetic look towards Doefeather. He gave the tom a friendly nudge on the shoulder with his snout, making sure they walked together in sync. “Hopefully we’ll be able to get there sooner than later, so you can go back to camp and I can, too.”

He glanced at Snowdrop'Leap, nodding slightly. He felt a pang of sorrow hit him, was it because the medicine cat was leaving at some point? Why was he even sad about that? Snowdrop was is Shadowclan, and Doe is in Riverclan.. there's nothing for him to be sad about, he was just helping the medic get some herbs and then they'd part ways

Snowdropleap let out a soft huff. His tail held itself up high and waved around in the air. He cast another look at Doefeather, his gaze darkening. Pinning his ears against the sides of his head, he looked away. No. All they were doing was venturing up to the two leg nests, collecting catmint, and then they would part ways and possibly never see each other again. Whatever happened between Snowdropleap and Doefeather during the night would be in the past.

They had gotten a lot closer, the twoleg and kittypet scent much stronger than it was before. They'd probably reach it in another half hour, maybe. He longed for it to take longer than that, for them to be able to be together longer than just a grab and go thing, but he knew that wasn't possible

Snowdropleap slowed his pace, the tip of his tail twitching. If he walked more slowly, then they’d surely be able to walk beside each other for much more longer. Surely, if he purposely tripped over twisted tree roots that protruded from the ground that could easily be avoidable, he could stay by Doefeather for much longer.

His pelt prickled with unease. The mixed scents of kittypet and two leg grew more in strength, which made Snowdrop want to gag. He silently reminded himself all he needed to do was grab a few things of catmint, and it’d be all over. All over..

He scrunched up his nose, his fur bristling at the scent as it got stronger by the second. The large brick walls surrounding the twoleg nests could be seen more clearly now, those Starclan-forsaken, claw-ripping, hell-inducing walls. He had scaled them once, and he now has one less claw than he did before

[ "Have you ever climbed the wall?" ] He looked over his shoulder at Snowdrop, pausing for a moment

The tom shook his head. “No, but today will be the first day I’ll try something as absurd as that.” Snowdrop said, padding closer up to the large brick wall, looking it up and down. He shuffled his paws nervously, shaking his pelt vigorously. “I think it’ll be doable.” Snowdrop murmured, though he sounded unsure.

[ "If i can do it, you definitely can. Just be careful, i lost a claw once to this thing." ] He grumbled before stepping back, a good jumping distance from the wall and crouching low. He wiggled his hindquarters before leaping up, digging his claws into the cracks in the bricks and pushing himself up onto the flat surface on top

His claws felt sore, he inspected each of his paws, they all seemed to be there. Doe peeked down at Snowdrop, sitting and wrapping his tail over his paws

The snowy-white tom-cat lowered himself down to the ground, his belly fur brushing against the dirt as he crept closer to the wall. Wriggling his hindquarters, he sprung up and dug his claws into the cracks inbetween the bricks, hissing at how painful it felt. As quickly as he could, he scaled up the wall, panting by the time he found himself a spot beside Doefeather. “I think I lost my life crawling up the side of the wall.” He breathed, wiping a paw across his forehead to wipe off imaginary sweat.

Doe snorted and rolled his eyes, standing and swiping his tail under Snowdrop's chin before beginning to walk the wall, looking for a garden or the scent of catmint

Snowdropleap let out an amused purr, trailing after the tom-cat. “I believe the one that’s full of catmint is a few gardens down from here. Or, nests, I should say.” Snowdrop replied, playfully pawing at Doefeather’s fluffy tail. He hoped none of those kitty pets or huge, monstrous dogs were out today. He wanted to leave this place as problem-free as possible.

He peeked down into a few open spaces beside the wall and in between some twoleg camps, there were some kittypets lounging in a few yards as they walked past them

Snowdropleap quickened up his pace, nearly bumping into Doefeather’s hindquarters. “S-sorry,” He chuckled sheepishly, backing up a little. Though, you couldn’t blame him, the RiverClan warrior was just way too fluffy! The patterns on Doefeather’s coat were absolutely mesmerizing. Shaking his head to dispel the thoughts, he went back to looking.

“Oh, here! This is the place.” Snowdrop piped up after awhile, carefully surveying the yard and making sure there wasn’t any other cats or dogs in there. “I think the coast is clear.”

He inched his hips out of the way so he could glance back at Snowdrop'Leap, narrowing his eyes at the tom before glancing down into the garden that he was talking about

[ "Welp, i guess we'll see." ] He purred, half to himself as he crouched low once more, wiggled his hindquarters and lept off the wall, landing in soft grass below
