His fur puffed out and he quickly scrambled to his paws, his tail tucking ever so slightly
[ "It's- It's alright." ] He breathed and leaned down to pick up the catmint he dropped, holding it delicately in his jaws as he stepped closer to Snowdrop

[ "You dropped this." ] His voice was muffled by the herb in his mouth, but he got the words out regardless. His ears twitched as he heard a few dogs bark again, more joining in a few seconds late. Were they really farther from those dogs? He couldn't tell, their barks were all jumbled together

The white tom gently took the bundle away from Doefeather. “We should probably start to head off, huh?” He asked in a suggesting tone, turning around a little. His ear turned to face the direction the barking was coming from. “We’ll have to be on high alert as we leave this place.” He muttered.

He nodded quietly, glancing over his shoulder to see the other gardens. The barking grew considerably louder as a few more dogs joined in, but he turned back to Snowdrop
[ "Yeah.. let's get going. I'll walk you all the way to the border? Then.. we split." ] He mumbled the last part, his ears pinning back a little

Snowdrop’s gaze held a grim look but instead of allowing for a frown to form on his maw the feline gave Doefeather a small grin. “Yep. Then we split.” The medicine cat replied, picking up a slow walk. Perhaps the slower the two walked beside each other, the longer they could stay together. The medicine cat wanted to purr loudly at the thought, but instead kept quiet.

He shook himself, ignoring the feeling of dread in his belly as the barking rang in his ears-
[ "So!" ] He quickly said, a little too loudly. Doe cleared his throat and sheepishly grinned, looking away [ "What's it like in Shadowclan? I can't remember if I've asked yet or not. Sorry if i did, i forgot what you said." ]

Snowdropleap thought about it. Obviously, he knew what ShadowClan was like, for he was a ShadowClan cat himself. But, usually, he spent his time in his den more than he did with his other clan mates, unless they needed to be treated or the leader needed to converse with him about a certain issue. “Well, if you’re talking about my perspective, it’s.. not too bad. Quiet, not always filled with much commotion. Though, I’d say the kits and apprentices are pretty mischievous and are always up to no good. Only a certain pawful are, though, of course.” The medicine cat said to the warrior, the tone of his voice thoughtful and calm.

[ "That sounds.. interesting. It sounds nice." ] He said, grinning at the medicine cat before sneezing turning his head just before. He sneezed a few nore times before shaking himself and straightening up, then sneezed again

“Perhaps you’ve grown allergic to your long fur,” Snowdrop teased, leaning down and playfully head butting Doefeather’s shoulder gently. The tom stifled a purr as his the tips of his ears brushed across Doe’s soft and plumy fur, wishing he could snuggle into his side and cling to him like a burr. ’So soft!’ The tom thought to himself.

He shot a glare at him before sneezing again
[ "Perhaps I've gotten allergic to you" ] Doe retorted, though his eyes were crinkled in amusement, a hint of laughter in his voice
[ "I've never sneezed this bad until now, it must be you and your herbs." ] He huffed, strutting a little in front of the medicine cat while flicking his tail beneath the other's chin, grinning back at him

[ "Are you ready to go back or... do you need any more herbs?" ] He almost blinked expectantly towards the medicine cat, partially hoping he did, but he pushed the thought aside and shook his head. He stopped for a moment and glanced back at the other, waiting for him to respond

The ShadowClan cat thought about it for a brief moment. “..No, I don’t think so.” He replied. “I think we should be good to finally head home. All I needed was some catmint, as I had already gathered the other herbs I needed beforehand.” Snowdrop shrugged.
