"Thank, you." Snowdrop purred, giving the other tom a grateful nod as he craned his neck down and hungrily tore into the fish; its blood painting the outer corners of his lips. "Mmm.. this is delightful! I can see why RiverClan enjoys eating fish." The big white feline rumbled, their voice muffled from the hunks of fish meat that remained in their mouth.

Once finished with his meal, he licked up the remnants of the fish by swerving their tongue around their maw. "Absolutely delectable. Perhaps I'll become a RiverClan cat so I can eat fish all day." Snowdrop joked with a purr.

He chuckled, his tail curling as he purred with the medicine cat
[ "I'm glad you like it." ]

[ "And.. maybe you should become a Riverclan cat." ] Doe said slowly, before mumbling, [ "I'd really like it." ]

Quickly, he sat up and grinned to hide what he said [ "Well! Should we continue? We've been gone for quite a while, we should probably get as much catmint as we can now and head back." ]

(i mean, she's a child her immune system might be stronger than yours. or whatever that's called )

Snowdropleap arched a brow at whatever Doefeather just mumbled; but didn't dare to question what he said. "You'd have to teach me how to swim, though, because even wading through a shallow stream is difficult for me." The tom tittered, playfully whisking his sleek tail across Doe's snout.

"Oh, yes. Might as well." Snowdrop nodded, turning around and squinting his eyes to see if he could catch a glimpse of the plant they needed. "Oh, here it is! Found the catmint." The tom grinned, trotting over to the small clump of the catmint and began to nip at the stems in order to collect them.

He quickly stepped behind Snowdrop, watching him quietly with a tilted head as the other collected the herbs

[ "They smell really good.." ] He mumbled, sniffing at one of the stems for a moment before pulling away, his tail curling over his back as a fur rose in his throat [ "Do they taste good? Can i try one?" ] Doe looked at the medicine cat with an expectant look

Snowdropleap eyed the other feline, perking up a brow. Squinting his eyes, he thought about it. After a few moments, the tom shrugged, craning his neck slowly towards the ground and carefully ripping off one of the catmint plants' corners. Using one of his claws, he placed it on top of his right paw's outstretched paw pad, straining it towards Doefeather's mouth. "I gave you a tiny piece, just in case. I don't exactly freely hand out medicinal herbs to people, but, you, Doe, lucked out." Snowdropleap purred, twitching his whiskers.

He glared at Snowdrop, it was such a tiny piece. [ "Cheapstake." ] He snickered before licking up the leave and chewing it hesitantly. Then, his whiskers twitched and his eyes widened [ "This is so good!" ] He exclaimed, tapping his paws a bit as his tail curled even more [ "It's so.. it's.. it's really good!" ] Doe didn't know how to explain it, but he assumed the medicine cat probably already knew what it tasted like, he was a medicine cat for Starclan's sake

Snowdropleap gave Doefeather a playful swat across the shoulder. The tom chortled. "That's why I gave you a tiny piece. It's pretty useful for relaxing cats, and treating other types of things -- e.g. green cough and white cough --." The large, snowy white tom explained. "But, you clearly aren't congested, nor do you have green cough or white cough, and I don't think you need to be relaxed." Snowdropleap chuckled, holding up his tail high into the air and waving it frantically from side to side.

He chewed on his lip before letting out a very obvious fake cough. He quickly cleared his throat and coughed again, then a few more times [ "Oh no! It seems I've caught green cough.. looks like i need some more of those." ] Doe batted his eyes at Snowdrop before letting out a fake cough again, stifling a giggle as he stumbled a little from the force

The big tom leaned forwards, puffing out his chest fur. A small purr rumbled from deep inside of his throat. "Fine.." He let out a dramatic sigh, slowly pawing forward a tiny piece. Before Doefeather could even put his grasp onto the diminutive piece of catmint, Snowdropleap snatched it back.

"Just kidding!" He giggled, a sly smirk forming on his maw. "You're such a silly little RiverClan cat. I know you're faking it." Snowdrop purred, giving Doefeather's nose a gentle tap.

Snowdropleap wiggled his hindquarters, dropping his upper half towards the ground and holding the tiny piece close to his chest, almost representing a ginormous rabbit trying to find some food. "Try and get it now, hairball-giver!" The medicine cat said in a mocking tone; though, in a jokeful manner. He silently hoped Doefeather wouldn't take the name, 'hairball-giver' to heart.. (Oh, Snowdrop, always a constant worrier )

He grinned and crouched down as well before leaping onto Snowdrop's back [ "I bet you didn't expect this!" ] He laughed and wobbled a bit, his claws gripping onto the Medici cats back as gently as he could get them

Snowdropleap grunted, his chin being shoved into the dirt below him as Doefeather hopped onto his back. "No, I certainly did not!" Snowdropleap chuckled, wiggling his hindquarters once more. "But I betcha you didn't expect this!" Snowdrop yelled, tugging his shoulders away from Doefeather's tight grasp and jumping up to his paws as quickly as he could, using one paw to clutch the catmint closely to his flank and the other to hold Doe's shoulder down.

The medicine cat peered closely into Doe's gaze, purring. "Maybe you do need a relaxer. I suppose this tiny, sweet-tasting piece of catmint will fulfill your needs." Snowdrop smirked, dangling the herb in front of Doefeather's face teasingly.

He yelped when his back hit the ground but all thoughts were washed away when Snowdrop grew closer to him. Could he feel his breath? Doe felt like he'd go crazy, his tail lashing as his paws trembled

He probably looked like a deer in headlights right now, his eyes wide as he blinked at Snowdrop'Leap silently. He wasn't even paying attention to the catmint, the thing that started all of this

[ "I-" ] Doe breathed, his paws flexing as he shrunk into his pelt a little

Snowdropleap blinked, wondering why Doefeather wasn't trying to snatch the catmint away from him. Then, he realized. His pale white coat went ablaze with embarrassment. "O-oh, too close!" He gasped, dropping the herb unintentionally onto the ground and stepping off of Doefeather. He angled his head shyly away from the tom, pawing at a lone pebble. "S-sorry," He murmured, flattening their ears against the sides of their skull.

Their heart began to pound. That was the closest they had ever been with Doefeather. Gulping, he kept his thoughts to himself and continued to look away from the RiverClan warrior.
