Amabala’s eyes widened. “You’ll take Polaris?”
The lioness heard her name and looked up, then padded over to join them as Amabala continued. “Oh, I’m so glad! She was so worried that she wouldn’t get a home now that she’s an adult. She’s an incredible hunter and a good fighter as well, you’ll love her!”
Polaris looked at her paws, embarrassed at the broodmother’s praise. Glaze had also joined them, sitting close to Polaris. Amabala smiled and gave them each a nuzzle, before sending them on their way.

She smiled towards the younger lioness, but her own belly looked bigger compared to her companion. Perhaps she was carrying young? Nothing surprising, a lingering heat had stained her coat's smell as Polaris joked about it lightly in front of the small cub, who poked her belly a small bit. The three went back to their homelands laughing.

you should offer 2-3 year old lionesses more often, i'd love to see em! :o)

(I really want to offer more young adult lionesses, but my pride is pretty large and I don’t want to spend gb to expand my territory. I get kinda emotionally attached to my lions but as my current pride dies off of natural causes, I’m gonna try to prevent it from getting this big again, so then I’ll be able to keep adult lionesses for adoption. I might start keeping them for a week or so once they age up if I have the space.)

I can't blame you, I get attached too! I have loads of pics of former lions, though some I usually kill/chase onc ethey can no longer breed as they kinda,,take up space in my mind. But for the most part I just :ooo)

As expected, the heiress had returned. More frequently than usual, oddly. Suppose it was because of her recently discovered love for the youth.
The young, beautiful lioness entered the den with the same regal aura like the days before. With a nod of acknowledgement, she raised a long, whip-like tail, pointing smoothly to Snakeskin, a cub with the fur of snow and tiny black spots.
"I'd like to take her." Her words these days were becoming shorter and shorter as time passes by, a result of her nearly daily visits to the den.

From the hills of the forest, a dark atmosphere began to set in as the pawsteps of a lion could be heard. The approaching male had no mane, but his slightly blood-stained claws and maw that almost looked as though it dripped the red, crimson fluid constantly were enough to be intimidating. In the shadow of him, a much taller male followed behind as if a control for the male, to keep the king from striking if anything went wrong; the short temper of the king could trigger terrible reactions from him.

"Who is the owner of this establishment?" His deep, gruff voice let out a growl to the male, who apparently, was the heir Karstaag from the first ever visit to this place!

Karstaag let out a sigh, "Amabala, sir. She's right over there with the cubs," His soft voice was so much better than the rough tone of the king, and you'd even begin to question why he was made king in the first place.

The king slowly stepped up towards Amabala, his eyes narrowing as he observed her. His ears flicked as he mumbled something, presumably about all the 'pesky cubs'. His age was showing as he moved around the place, ribs sticking out of a now thin and oil-y pelt, and sunken in eyes showed his lack of nutrients being gained throughout his meals. Karstaag let out a shudder, he seemed nervous to lead, but all the more ambitious to fix what the male had done to his home.

Finally, after a minute or five of chilling silence, the king opened his mouth again, "I'd like to partner with your..small establishment here. We have a number of cubs that, Apedemak willing, are not to my taste-"

"-What he's trying to say is that he wants to join up with your work, like a partner if you will," Karstaag finished for him, just to keep it short and simple, even if the king shot him a glare.

"Yes...that is what I meant. So, what do you say? Many cubs could be..spared with this, my lionesses shall help you with your endeavors when needed, and vice versa, I'd hope."

(basically i have a lot of cubs and have been pondering joining your line of work for a long time!! i love this kinda stuff and really wanna let my cubs have a chance at life rather than them being killed!! also, the cubs will stay in my den and i could code a little thing for a clickable link to my unsorted to :)!!)

Isiphepho nodded, used to the brief visits from the lioness. “Go ahead,” she said, before rushing off to separate two arguing cubs.

Amabala smiled tentatively, clearly nervous around the vicious-looking king, but she nodded her head. “Of course, let me just check with the others. As the youngest broodmother, I don’t have much say in these things, but I’m sure they will agree.”
She ran off towards the other lionesses in the den, and they huddled together to discus. Vikela kept casting suspicious glances towards the king, but eventually Amabala returned, purring.
“They agreed!” she said. “I will start letting our guests know that you have cubs to give away as well. Hopefully we will be able to save even more lives this way.”

(That is a great idea! Just send me the link to your den and anything else you want to say and I’ll put it up on the main post. I have to edit it soon anyway as my king retires in a couple days, and that post is from his point of view.)

Karstaag smiled, standing beside his elderly, and short, king, "That's amasing! If you'd like to see our, in lack of other words, 'warehouse of cubs', you can meet them all this way. There's also a few adult females, but they're unbred and never will be bred until adoption, so I'm sure they'll bring some wanting eyes!"

I may or may not have a perspective ready when karstaag becomes king, it feels a little wasteful to just have nasaki be there for like, what, 2? weeks and have this super long perspective only to have it be gone for karstaag pfff)

Nicco walked into the cave looking around as he saw a sign saying "adoptables". -Hm might check them out- he thought to himself. He looked at nearly all of them and none got his attention, until he saw Glacier. He excitedly walked up to the cub -hey there! I think your markings are beautiful and you really stand out in this crowd. Would you like to come home with me?-

A dazzling lioness with a layered, pastel coat featuring different pale colors trotted nervously into the den, ears twitching hesitantly. She took a long inhale, savoring the scent of clean, fresh air, obviously out of sheer uncertainty. She wasn't used to exiting her pride borders, nor meeting new lions. Bomi made sure her head was tilted to the ground in order not to meet anyone's gazes once she hastily approached Shelela, one of the lionesses she at first sight thought were welcoming. She had pale gold fur with a sweet face, and so Bomi picked her, feeling unsure of the others.
"H-hello..." The lioness squeaked. "Um- Ah..." She searched for words, suddenly looking blank and unresponsive. "Oh! Um, Byunhyun... I think the lot of you know her. W-Well"--She cleared her throat, stalling time--"she told me to, um, get... This lion named... Dusk, I believe? He's a male from, I think, one of your partners. An adoloscent too." She tried to say helpfully, beaming an awkward smile.

Aphrodite, a gorgeous female with long, draping fur that flow e near her ankles as her gentle eyes looked over the female. A giggle came from her chest as she saw the nervous female, her tail over her back to greet the newcomer that had been patrolling the broodmothers den, chalked full of younglings and a few younger lionesses. She stood up and approached her, a smile grasping her ‘lips’ as she let Dusk follow beside her.

“Hehe, I assume you mean this little one? He’s a bit of a rascal, but from the looks of it he’ll fit right in with your pride of lions. While I let him say goodbye, is there anyone else you want to bring with him?” She smiled, sitting down beside Sky and Rose, the two females mutually grooming each other during the warm, sunny afternoon.

Bomi nearly toppled over in panic once Aphrodite had approached. Quickly regaining her composure, the lioness swallowed the bile that rose from her throat, eyes darting once again to the earthy ground beneath her rough pads.
"Uh, I- Um." She stuttered, looking everywhere and everyone except Aphrodite. Her gaze fell on Poodle, a pretty, elegant looking adoloscent. "I- C-Could I have her?" She barely managed to choke the words out, and let out a faint sigh of relief once she got it over with. "Thank you...?" She trailed off, blinking rapidly in confusion. She didn't quite catch the stunning lioness' name.

Aphrodite giggled, nodding to her as Dusk nipped Poodle's ear, the adolescent pawing back at him as they rushed to the front, both smiling at their caretaker as she rolled her eyes. She gently pushed Dusk's bum to move him alongside the female while Poodle rolled her eyes and laughed at Dusk.

"They seem eager to leave with you," She smiled, "And you're welcome," Aphrodite replied swiftly, having a cub nibbling at her tail as she seemed more on edge because of it, though she couldn't be blamed; cubs teeth could be very sharp.

Dusk and Poodle said their final goodbyes and followed Bomi back to her pride, still creating slight mischief along the way.

I will be moving my ADOPTABLE lions to their own special area, along with my broodmothers and my nursing females. Most likely scenario is that their cubs will be for adoption, but please note their footnote before taking. Thank you!
