The newly aged lioness Charr walked into a cave simply to play with the cubs. As she engaged in a staring contest with one of the cubs her eyes were drawn to the back of the cave, where two small blue adolescents were playing tick tack toe in the dirt. She blinked, (she would never admit it but it wasnt on purpose) and hopped cheerfully over to the adolescents. Bending over them, and watching their game, she whispered "hi" which startled them. They both looked up to see her face, smiling down at them. One was squinting, inspecting Charrs face, and the other had a rather...disgusted look on her face, though she tried to hide it. Hecate looked down and drew an X, then looked up at her opponent with a smirk, declaring that she had one, again. Eris rolled her eyes and drew another grid, hoping for a re-match. But before they could start playing, they realized Charr had wandered off. They looked around, confused, only to see her walking back smiling even bigger. She then told them that her pride would LOVE to have them in it.

A powerful queen strode into the shelter of Nyumbani, searching for the perfect cub to join her pride. She gazed around, eyes searching out cubs with specific pelts, until her eyes fell upon a young male who was playing with another of the cubs. Her gaze searched across his dappled coat, seeing the mix of browns and creams. Thinking hard she realized that he was exactly what she needed.

She gazed around the den for a moment longer until she spotted one of the broodmothers, Vikela.

Walking over she spoke, "may I take in Atlas to become one of my own? He will become a respected member of my clan for his coat." She bowed her head as she spoke, waiting for a response.

August approaches the adoption centers and walks around a bit spotting to young girls he approaches and speaks with them a bit finding out that they have much in common with others of his pride and offer them a place in his pride they nod with excitement and sit aside and await for approval. August walks up to nyumbani to speak to her about adopting them. "Nyumbani i would like to adopt gaia and iris as they are the perfect fit for my pride. If i may adopt them that would be great ."

**Nyumbani Shelter!**

A young lioness, her silver pelt mottled with splotches of black and white, reminiscent of a painted wolf approached, guiding a younger, smoky auburn adolescent, who was clearly blind as they neared. Picking her way through the clearing, hery dark blue eyes scouting around the clearing, occasionally murmuring in the younger's ear. "You there!" she called out to an adolescent around her companion's age. The adolescent, Nike, approached them cautiously. "Tell me, young one, are you willing to travel with me and my daughter here, to join our pride? We are rather small, and are hoping to grow our numbers a touch, and you look strong in mind, spirit, and body."

A large pink lioness walked through the shelter of Nyumbani. She stood tall and smiled at all the cubs, showing off her coat. Two adolescents walked up to get a closer look. The lioness sat, as the adolescents looked and poked at her. Pixie dust (the lioness) asked for their names. They both didnt care to look at her face but one said loudly, "Im Circe, and this is Nemesis." Pixie dust answered back by saying, "there are many beautiful lions at my pride, with even more beautiful coats! Would you care to join us?" They looked up at each other, shocked. They giggled and nodded with wide eyes and big smiles.

The pale pride leader entered the adoption cave, his eyes shining softly as he looked around, eyeing all the curious, excited little cubs. His tail swished gently from side to side as a small smile stretched his maw, and the lion tipped his head at the cubs and adolescents, wondering if any would approach his large figure. To Dove’s pleasant surprise, two dark-pelted female adolescents stalked up to him, one prominently much more louder than the other. One of the females looked as if she had been delicately painted - dark stripes ran boldly across a soft cocoa-shaded coat - and sported stunningly white eyes, while the other held a leopard like aura around her - stunning white spots dripped across her flank, and her gentle green eyes held a caring gaze. Dove engaged in conversation with the two, purring a quick introduction.
“Hello, there. I am Dove that flies above Clouds. My pack is humble, yet we rule with certainty, and I came wandering here today to look for new additions to my growing back. What may your names be, if you don’t mind me asking?”
The two females introduced themselves as being named Marigold and Orchid, and the lion flicked his ears in amusement. “They are excellent names. If you were to join our Pack, y’know, you would receive new names - ones that align with our naming system. Don’t fret - I’m sure the Pack would come up with delightful additions to your name. Would you perhaps be interested in joining our Pack?” He finished his wording with a quiet question, one that was barely audible, even to his ears. He hoped that they would join - both lionesses seemed like they would grow up to be more than capable of thriving within his Pack, and he knew that his Pack huntresses would gladly welcome new adolescents to train.”

A mottled male tentatively padded through the entrance way of the shelter, careful not to brush his fur against the lichen hanging from the ceiling so not to pull the delicate strands away from the ceiling. He was a young king, only freshly taking the throne after spending time beneath his grandpaw learning how to care for a pride and the females within it. His pride was large, his elder, tork, had been a gentle male and taught him well in that nature. The patched male stepped into his place when he elder's strength failed, and he was needed to fend their territory from an incoming onslaught of rogues, to which he'd earned his more recent scars from.

His vigor though and his desire to care for those around him brought whispers to his ears, of a shhelter where stray cubs and adolescents were cared for until they could find themselves a permanent pride. S'more himself had been abandoned once at a young age, so he knew the pang all too well of wanting to find a safe place to call home, somewhere where he could love and be loved. He wasn't as impressive now as his grand-paw had been, but he wanted to be, and he wanted to start making a difference now, in whatever way he could.

Quietly he approached the cubs and adolescents, eagerly playing amongst each other and learning from the broodmother who watched him intenetly. To assure her of his motives, S'more folded his ears back and loosed his posture, curling his tail invitingly as he set down a few bones that he's brought for the cubs to play with. He stayed for some time, rolling with the cubs, his energy matching theirs on par annd bringing a grin to his maw that seemed never to falter. His attentions turned after some time to three of the young adolescant females he'd taken a kindred spirit to. "Goose, Lyric, Panther, it might come perhaps suddenly, but would you like to return with me to my pride? I would love to inrododuce you to some of the queens that take charge of our territory, and the meadows and dens that sprawl with resting spots and areas of safety to rest and play to your hearts content."

(I.. honestly could have keep going and added sooo much more, but i tried to be a little gentle as this is my first time getting back into the swing of roleplaying after y e a r s of being away from it.

This is a small request for Goose and Lyric and Panther, I absolutely adored their patterns and honestly I would love to make a permanent home for them)

A dark and scarred male slowly walked in, making sure to keep a demeanor of kindness by keeping his shoulders low and his head lower. It didn't matter if he was the king of his pride, this wasn't his pride and he wasn't going to act like it was. Taking a few steps in he sat at the edge of the cave near the entrance. He'd slowly slid his front paws forward as he slipped into a laying position. He scanned lions and lionesses deep within the cave, finding three he quite fancied to claim as members of his pride but he must be patient. Watching for Vikela and Khatiba, the brood mothers walked slowly around making sure the cubs and adolescents were behaving themselves.

He'd let out a soft purr before slowly shifting to stand up, and slowly moving towards the first that caught his eye, a beautiful female named Giraffe. He wanted to make sure she was alright with him so he would let his mane shake as he rubbed against her head trying to prove that he would be a good, kind, and caring leader. Once he deemed it enough he would stop and step back before turning towards another one of the three, this time a cub. The features of this young female would resemble him in color, the darkness that encompassed his mane and skin. Eclipse let out a snarl which almost startled him but he remained still taking a moment before lightly pawing at the cheek of the cub with one of his large front toe-beaned filled paws. It was meant to be kind and nurturing but could be seen as anything. He didn't know how the cub would take it but the small head tilt toward the paw meant he was doing something right.

He'd lay down by the cub before looking towards a fiery adolescent that was playing amongst the cubs, toying with them. He found it quite funny, a low rumble similar to a purr erupted in him as he watched Flame enjoy himself. He didn't catch the male's attention but that wasn't an issue, it was just a challenge to prove that he was something to look after. He'd slowly turn to lay on his stomach before pawing at the back leg of Flame like he was a cub himself. He'd cause him to turn and Flame to pounce onto the stomach of Lendiorus which resulted in a soft thump as he took the impact of the lion showing his might. He'd let out a loud purr towards all three of them before standing up and rubbing against each slowly. before he turned to the brood mothers and let out a soft grunt before nodding and walking towards the door. Hoping the three followed him as he wished they could.
