Dakota began walking, making sure he didn’t get too far ahead of the pups. He was going to miss having them around. Then again, there were about to be a ton of tiny paws around here, especially after Kai.

“Oh trust me, you don’t have to talk to Catori to get her mad.” Nanook warned. He loves his daughter, but she was cruel. Nanook chuckled, yes, him and Atlas have discussed them. “Atlas and I want you to stay here with us.” He stated. “I don’t want to push too much, but it’ll be easier on all of us to have a few more bodies to hunt... and we know your pack life isn’t great.” Nanook didn’t want her thinking they were offering simply due to pity. They enjoyed heir company.

Nomad squirmed a bit, clearly uncomfortable. “N-no,” he stuttered. “That’s just, uh, we were just, uh, joking around,” he mumbled. Tamaska and Matsi chuckled. Nomad was all talk, and definitely would never be able to handle himself. He’s lucky he has his pack.

The pups made sure to follow Dakota closely not wanting to find something like a cougar again. "are you second in charge?" Rapture asked curiously. Sorrow was walking beside her brother to make sure he was keeping up.

"I was actually speaking with Banshee about it before, you seem to have won her over and I must admit I really don't feel like leaving your pack either, my pups are happy here so I'm willing to stay but the rest of the pack need to agree with my decision, we will obviously be excluding Turbo from having a say in it" Sol replies. Sol smiled and wondered how Nanook would react.

Banshee laughed and let Nomad up. "I'm sorry, I was just messing with you, I didn't hurt you or anything did I?" She asked. She hoped he was ok and that she didn't accidentally break Nomad. Banshee smiled at him and glanced at the other two before looking at Nomad again.

“No I’m not, uh,” Dakota looked behind him to see which one was talking. “Rapture. My older brother Ahanu is. Him and Nanook became like brothers after they took us in.” Dakota explained. “I’m just a better hunter, so I lead the hunts and teach how to hunt. Ahanu teaches other things, but mostly chats with Nanook.”


“Well, I’m sure we can go with you to make sure there aren’t any complications. You may want to wait to heal up first, unless you trust your pack will listen to us without you.” Nanook suggested.


“Oh! Ya ya I totally got that, I was just, um, playing submissive,” Nomad smiles and tried to play it off. This made Tamaska and Matsi laugh even harder. Tamaska was rolling on the ground before Nomad got annoyed and went to bother Catori.

“Oh don’t mind him, he’s an idiot!” Tamaska said jokingly, yelling the last part so Nomad could hear. Nomad shouted something in response but he was too far to hear.

“How are you holding up, Banshee?” Matsi asked kindly.

"I see, Our pack is weird then" Rapture replied. Sorrow snorted at the first part of Raptures sentence. Rapture looked concerned by Sorrow's snorting. "wait quiet I hear something" Rapture whispered loudly.

Sol thought about what Nanook just said to her. "Some would listen to you but the others may take a little convincing, you could take Banshee and they'd most likely listen" Sol replied but her attention was stolen by Yin showing up looking panicked and out of breath. "That's one of my wolves" Sol said in shock and bolted down from the hill not paying attention to her cuts. She reached Yin and tried to calm her.

"You know I think my sister might like him, she is just as weird as him or at least my brother Kato might be his friend as long as he doesn't mistake Kato for a girl, then I'd feel bad for them both" Banshee laughed. Banshee looked at Matsi and smiled. "I'm ok, just trying not to think about sinking my fangs into turbo, I really don't like him" Banshee replies.

“What do you hear?” Dakota tried to focus but he couldn’t hear what the pup was hearing. “Prey or danger?” He asked.


“What are they doing?” Nanook asked Sol. He filled her to the stranger.


“Then don’t ever go see him again,” Matsi said. ”and if he comes here, we’ll protect you, right Tamaska?”

Tamaska rolled his eyes. “There you go making promises. Yes, of course we all have your back,” Tamaska told her.

"It sounds like...a wolf maybe two, It smells like death though, we should not continue" Rapture replies quietly. Sorrow frowns. "How come I don't smell it?" Sorrow growls.


"Yin calm down for me and speak when you are ready" Sol said.

"Turbo is on a rampage he attacked Anzar because Anzar spoke out against him and he threw Anzar into the river, Nightwing went in after Anzar but he was already injured just as bad if not worse than Anzar, If they made it out they'd be searching for you, so I thought I'd let you know" Yin responded after catching her breath. "I need to go back to protect our remaining pack members" Yin added.

Sol let out an aggressive growl. "Did you see the two of them get out of the river?" Sol had a tone that demanded an answer.

Yin's tail was tucked between her hind legs and she cowered when Sol growled. "No" Yin replied fearfully.

Sol didn't know what to feel at that moment. "We have to do something" Sol growled.


"I have a feeling something bad is happening on the other side of the river as we speak, Turbo is one of those insane alpha's probably wasn't always that way but as long as I've been around he has had it out for me, so If he does cross the river he will be coming straight for me and my siblings, That would be the easiest way to get my mother to do what ever he wants" Banshee replies. Banshee moves slightly. "He doesn't care who he has to step on to get his way" She adds.

“Run straight to Nanooks den. I’ll be right behind you,” Dakota nudged Rapture forward with his nose then looked around fearfully. He followed the pups only two steps behind the whole way back.


“Everybody, here, now!” Nanook shouted. Matsi and Tamaska looked up, afraid, and ran to the bottom of the hill. With the entire pack here and listening, Nanook sighed. “There a problem with the alpha of Sol’s pack. Two wolves are lost in the river, the rest are back with Turbo. Matsi and Nomad I want you two to go search down the river. Do not engage Turbo if he finds you. Ahanu, Dakota, Tamaska, Catori—you guys will be coming with me to stop Turbo and collect the rest of the pack. Anoki and Kai will stay behind with atlas and the pups. No one, I repeat, no one come s back to this densite if Turbo finds them. Whatever you do, do not run back here unless you’ve done what you left to do and you’re sure he’s not following you. Once we’re all back we can regroup and figure out what to do with Turbo.” Nanook turned to Sol. “I don’t know what you and Banshee want to do. You guys can join whatever Royo you want.” Nanook turned to Ahanu. “Let’s head out!”

Matsi and Nomad began running towards the river, while the rest ran towards the small meadow.

Kai and Anoki watched at the wolves ran into the forest, and then they entered the den. Atlas looked stressed. “It’s okay mother, everything will be fine. Just rest.” Kai layed down so Atlas could rest her head on kai’s back. Anoki layed down so that if anyone came into the den, they wouldn’t see Atlas or Kai.

Sorrow and Rapture ran as fast as they could. Once the got back they entered the den with Atlas and stayed quiet, the two curled up together in a corner. "Mother once said that the only thing I should fear is the crow" Rapture calmly stated. "because his cry means death is near" Rapture finished. "We have not heard a crow today so we will be fine" Sorrow said.


Banshee looked at her mother waiting for a command. Sol calmed herself and looked at Banshee. "You go help Matsi and Nomad, You have to find Anzar and Nightwing for me, take Yin with you since she is here" Sol ordered and took a moment to breathe. Sol was angry and disgraced how could she let her pack fall like this. "I'm going to make sure, he doesn't come here, I feel that I'm responsible for this" Sol added. Banshee usually struggled to show emotion but she nuzzled her mother gently. "Don't you die" Banshee replied. They were simple words but meant a lot coming from Banshee. "I will let you know if I find Turbo" Banshee spat at his name. "likewise" Sol said. The two wolves raced off in separate directions.

Kai snuggles the twins, trying to put on a brave face.


Matsi turned to Banshee. “I don’t really know who were looking for. Why don’t you lead the way? Me and Nomad will follow.” Matsi looked at Nomad. This was the first time he’d seen his brother scared. Nomad was usually not concerned with much, but Matsi could tell he was not only worried for himself, but for his pack.

They snuggle into Kai. "We are safe and so is your pack, please don't be scared" Rapture replied. Rapture was scared but trying to comfort them.


"alright, I think your brother needs you right now anyway" Banshee whispered as she noticed Nomad's worry. Yin was lagging behind the small group and Banshee gave a loud growl and a sharp glare to Yin who quickly walked to the front of the group. "You are acting weird! why?!" Banshee demanded. Yin stopped and looked at Banshee. Yin was completely calm totally different to how she was before. Banshee turned on Yin and pinned the smaller wolf. "You need to answer me now!" Banshee snarled.


Sol soon caught up with the group of wolves heading to the small meadow. Sol was worried more about her pack then usual. Something didn't feel right about they way Yin had approached them. Sol refused to believe that Yin had anything to do with this, She didn't want to face the fact that her pack could have turned on each other.

Rum was trying to get himself on to his feet. The pack was thrown into chaos in the early morning. Rum was injured he'd been attacked and left for dead in the small meadow. He didn't know who had attacked him but he knew it wasn't Sol's pups or the two that were missing. Rum growled in pain as he found his feet, he had to get help from someone.

Matsi and Nomad didn’t know what to do when Banshee jumped on Yin. “Banshee, whats going on?” Matsi asked, scared and confused.


Nanook turned to Sol. “You seem nervous. It’s okay, we’ll be there soon.” As soon as they arrived at the river, everyone stopped. “You lead the way, I don’t know where your pack is,” Nanook told Sol.

"We might have fallen for a trap" Banshee growls. Banshee glares at Yin. "You better start talking!" Banshee snarls. Yin glares back at Banshee and smiles slightly. "Oh I can tell you what happened but you won't like it" Yin said calmly.


Sol paused for a moment before entering the river, she sniffed the air as if she was checking for Turbo's scent. "Nanook this could be a trap, I'd hate to think that low of my pack members but I can feel it in my heart that something isn't right" Sol said as she walked into the river. Sol walked through the water and began heading for the small meadow. Sol stopped when the scent of blood hit her nose, Sol looked around and froze seeing a familiar body not far from her. "She was lying..." Sol said quietly. Sol's ears were flat against her skull as she cautiously walked up to the body. "Anzar..." Sol whimpered.

“A trap? What do you mean a trap?” Nomad was panicking, and he began pacing back and forth.


“Banshee...” Matsi mumbled. “We need to get back to the pups.” Matsi and Nomad looked at eachother, terrified of what might happen.


“A trap?” Nanook asked. When they saw the body in the meadow, none of them knew what to do. Nanook waited for Sol to take everything in, so they could try to figure out what to do next.

Banshee looked at Matsi. "Its alright both of you need to go protect them, I understand, go It will be fine I can handle this" Banshee replied sounding confident.


Sol looked down at Anzar for a few moments before closing her eyes and thinking. "Nanook...It might be wise to send someone back to the den, Just in case Turbo is planning something, He might not go that far b...but" Sols cold voice began to waver as if she was trying desperately to hold herself together. The wolf laying at her feet had been her mentor and father figure for most of her life so her pain and silent suffering were justified. "I understand if you no longer want to help me get back whatever is left of my pack, You have your own to take care of" Sol finished. Sol refused to show emotions until everything was dealt with, she would let her emotions loose later.

Matsi looked at Nomad, and then at Banshee. “Nomad go, Banshee I’m staying with you. Let’s go find your pack.”


Nanook turned to Ahanu and Tamaska. “You two go back to the den. We’ll stand by you, Sol.” Nanook watched Tamaska and Ahanu run back to the densite.


Tamaska, Ahanu, and Nomad all arrived at the same time and took their places on the hill right in front of the opening to the den. “Somethings not right, we might’ve been set up,” Ahanu told the wolves in the den.
