This is (LOOSELY) based off of my adoption thread located here! This will be edited lots before I am satisfied with it, but ya know! This is where the RP will happen, I request that we try to keep OOC chat in the OOC forum, but I won't enforce it too hardcore. Some Rules: - All 18+ actions are to be fade to black - nothing involving minors and adults - Please put a warning before any gore, mutilation, or descriptive harm (self or otherwise) - Do not have a response that describes how someone else's character reacts UNLESS this has been previously okay'ed by the original player Each pride will be listed with a link to their respective page in the R&T Prides Forum. It is up to the creator of said pride to update it as people join! However, if they are anything like me, they may need occasionally reminders lol. But don't be pushy!! I will try to update this ASAP as people join and switch up their roles as well!! As a reminder, I would love people joining my pride just remember that the lion/lioness either HAS to have a mutation or fake it somehow to be allowed in the pride. He lives out near the Oasis that is unclaimable by any prides. That is monkey only territory. Nyx|Afasysi’s|Frost Nyx snarled, feigning confidence. This adolescent was beginning to get on her nerves though. She knew if a fight came she would would win, after all, she had spent most her life fighting animals much bigger than her. She didn’t want to prolong this interaction any longer than she had to, so she gave in. “Fine,” she growled. “My name is Nyx.” She did not enjoy telling strangers anything beyond her name, she kinda had to if she wanted anymore information. “I’m a wanderer.” She said. “Now, if that is all, I’ll be on my way. She knew that feeling all too well; she knew that Izel didn't mean to be rude, it was just a knee jerk reaction. Especially from the meeker DU girls. "Of course! I'm glad you're doing fine, Izel," She purred. Feeling that Izel was basically pressed against her, Lily leaned into the touch. That was one of the many things that Lily did not like about being placed on a pedestal, the lack of affection. Frost | Afayasi's | Nyx Frost bared her teeth at Nyx. "If you'll be off, then you need to stay off of our territory," She snarled. Izel | Afyasi’s Oasis, Du Den | Lily of the Valley Izel warily nodded, her paws clinging to one another, she rubbed each of them together as a way to warm the both of them up, occasionally blowing out into the middle of them as a way to heat them faster, glancing over to Lily as she listened to what the adolescent had to say, her head slightly nodding along with every word Lily spoke, biting down on her tongue as a way to not cut-in, or to talk to much, feeling as if she spoke now, she may have never stopped. Waiting until a quiet silence had drifted between the two, she turned her head to the adol beside her, her eyes following the shift of her position, her gaze landing on Lily, as she spoke, she shuffled closer, bringing the warmers she wore so tightly around her arms and legs further down as she continued to move and shuffle her paws, making them touch the top of her paws. “ I- um- thank you, again! I’m glad you’re doing good, too- I mean, at least you seem well.. ,” she trails off, looking over to the other side of the den as a way to avoid Izel’s look. { Sorry for the delayed response- went out for a bit! } 0 players like this post! Callahan | Somewhere| Shiva Callahan nodded amiably, redirecting his course towards Afyasi’s Oasis. He'd been there before, he thought. He wondered if anyone would recognize him. Or perhaps he was mixing up dreams and reality again? He shook himself roughly. "Maybe we could say hello, I believe lions reside around there..." he mused, lifting his head to sniff. He felt the wind change to blow the faint smell of other felines. He muttered a polite thanks to Motaji then continued padding along. If things got ugly, it wouldn't be too much fuss, he thought. Many felines were hostile to Callahan for many reasons; he was a cheetah, he was a Preist for a god, he travelled with a leopard, he was on their territory blah blah blah, the list went on. It never bothered Callahan; he simply moved on with Shiva. Smiling, the cheetah padded a little bit faster. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Nyx|Afyasi’s|Frost Nyx flexed her claws and brushed up against the young lioness. “I’ll think about it.” She whispered quietly into their ear and walked away, her stripes blending into the tall grass. As she was looking around, she could not find her original target, the bleeding lioness had left. “Oh well,” Nyx thought to herself. “I have a new source of information. That little adolescent.” Nyx had decided that night, when she had the advantage of the dark, she would track the adolescent farther into their territory. Lily of the Valley | Afasysi's Oasis, DU Den | Izel Lily smiled at how awkward Izel was; it was nice being the most competent one in the room for once. "I am doing good, especially now that I'm talking to someone!" Lily chirrups. If the gray lioness had a tail, it would be flicking back and forth casually, showing content. She watched as Izel rubbed her paws together for warmth, and gingerly took her paws in her own, rubbing them as well. Lily figured it was hard to warm something up with a cold something (she doesn't know basic heat laws, she is a lion). Shiva | Somewhere, on way to Afaysi's | Callahan Shiva perked up her ears when Callahan said lions. "Aren't those, uh word, word, word, dangerous, Cal?" She asked, after finding the word she was looking for. Shiva was always cautious around other cats, especially after her first year of life. It gets better, yes, but it was still a scary world out there for the small leopard. Frost | Afaysi's Oasis | Nyx, Hyena Frost let out a warning snap to Nyx as she whispered in their ear. Shaking out her pelt, Frost made sure that the lioness was well away from the territory's heart before she started her way around, through, up, down, back, forth, through the river, out of the river, over there, here, further; just so Frost could loose her before making her way to the den areas. Tearing into the royal enclave, Frost caterwauls, "Hyena!!" She impatiently waits for a response from the primal so she can emerge from her den. The adolescent is pacing, about to hurl from nerves. The piebald's tail is lashing out behind her in anger, frustration, and anguish. They were also on the verge of tears. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Nyx|just outside of Afaysi’s Nyx had found a little cave by a stream of water to rest in. She was feeling much better after that encounter with the adolescent. She had decided to explore Afaysi’s, just to get a lay of the land. She didn’t want to be spotted, so she watched in the shadow of the trees and the tall grass. You've got me, and a literal god. If anything goes wrong, we can just go away, easy." He stepped back with another bird-like sound, then sent a mental message to Motaji to send the two's scent towards the lions. That would make their presences known and hopefully avoid a nasty scare. The god didn't seem pleased but did it anyway. The wind swirled towards Afaysi's Oasis, taking their scents with it. "Now they'll know we're here." Izel | Afyasi’s Oasis, Du Den | Lily of the Valley { Gonna be heading off, after this! ‘Night! } Izel’s farce flushed a warm, dark shade of orange as Lily took her paws, feeling a cold rush of adrenaline rush through her at the touch of another. She felt herself pausing for a moment as a small surge of heat passed from the adol, whom was now in front of her, to her cold body, yet, again looking to the empty, abandoned side of the den. Along with each second passing by, she could feel her body grow warmer and warmer, her face flushing a darker, warmer color as Lily continued to hold their paws together, as if she couldn’t feel the embarrassment, nor annoyance Izel felt. Izel hated hated touch, it was familiar to her- in the way she didn’t want to remember. How her mother would coddle and cradle her as If she were a new born-cub, whenever her mother would treat her as she truly was- an ill, barley surviving cub that so desperately needed the attention she never received. She can’t quite remember when her hatred sparked , only that it did- only that she hated it so, despising even the mere though of it. However, she still ached for it. Especially as now- her body felt numb from the coldness, and sickness she was experiencing, and Lily’s was the opposite, willing to share her warmth and kindness in more ways then one- all of Which Izel was uncomfortable with experiencing, yet she aches from the small amount of attention she received, and seemed to rise with the attention and kindness she revived from Lily. “ I- I’m glad to be of help. ,” she chirrups with a quiet, soft chuckle, her voice stick croaky and raspy, her body continuing it’s late and slow rises and lowering, Izel’s breaths were slow-paced, each heavy and long. 0 players like this post! Nyx|Afyis’s As Nyx was stalking in the grass, a sudden wind blew, it carried a scent with it. A cheetah, and something else, her muscles tensed and her pupils dilated. It was a leopard. The scent of one brought her back to her days of cage fights, memories she didn’t want brought back. Hopefully she wouldn’t have to come into contact with it. I could train you to be the spitting image of him! We could take back the pride.." She entices with a groggy voice, extending a paw. Hyena|Afyasi The primal sighed- watching as the sun began to hide behind the horizon while perched on a high rock that looked out over the pride. She felt rather lonely, floundering again with her mates sick or traveling. Harbinger was her only real other friend in the pride, and he too was far too ill to keep her company at the moment. Her thoughts swam in circles- her face twisting in worry and concern. She Chirped at the sudden brush of gentle fur against her own. She peered over to see Domino, chipper as always and cuddling up against her. She had half a mind to push him away- but the weight of his lilith form on her bulky one felt comforting. She didn't speak to him- keeping her golden gaze out towards the horizon. " You seemed lonely my.. uhm- My advisor." He re-writes his words mid thought, recalling what she had warned earlier. " Are you lonely? Perhaps lost?" He questions, Hyena sighs talking to him without turning her head. " Maybe.. I thought things would be perfect now that Coy is gone.. and they are better. But sometimes I worry the gods aren't in favor of me.. nor my friends or mates." Domino hums thoughtfully, opening his mouth to speak. But by doing so he scents two strangers drawing near to the pride. He suddenly changes the subject. " Do you smell that??" He mumbles. Hyena sniffs the air- scenting them as well. " Yes.. Most likely some more traders.." She suggested. Domino wiggled his nose- eyebrows furrowing. His smile became strained. "Mm.. no. This smells different.. I feel a presence with them as well.. almost god-like.." He mumbles, tail drumming against the ground. Hyena spots two figures walking towards the pride and points them out. " Perhaps that is them?" She suggested. Domino perks up- watching with a skeptic optimism. " So it seems.. Hopefully they aren't bringing some curse into our pride.." " I don't need your praise twig! If anybody needs a shoulder right now it'd be Imp. He seems beside himself. Last i saw he was sobbing at Afyasi's Altar or something.. Tch. So hung up over such a bitch.." He mumbles the last words, still irritated that he couldn't move. Panya hums- looking at Aneesha with a frown. It isn't right for them to mingle.." She sneers, stepping into the dim sunlight slightly to show the smilus her wounded eyes. " And look what they do to those who still praise him.." She snarls. " What do you think they'll do to you? You look awfully like him you know.. I bet Hyena would string you up by your legs and have the pride beat you to death with stones! You don't want that... do you?" She warns him of falsehoods, her voice desperate and aching. " They killed your father for god's sake.. while he was defending his own pride from a war Hyena started!"
