"There will be plenty of options for you when the time passes, because once leafbare passes it'll be newleaf, and kits will be popping out like crazy." The medicine cat laughed lightly, though he inwardly grimaced at that. Perhaps he should consider taking on an apprentice.

He looked at Snowdrop'Leap with a wide smile, purring and chuckling at the gesture [ "Thank you. That- actually means a lot." ] Doe mumbled, stumbling for a split second

[ "And i hope so.. i feel like I'd be a decent mentor. Not the best but not the worst, either." ] He chuckled to himself [ "What about you? Do you have an apprentice?" ]

"Of course," Snow purred, giving them a wide grin in return. "I don't care if you ramble on and on about stuff. I never really talk to anyone -- well, more like no one really talks with me -- so I'm not bothered much by it." The medicine cat shrugged.

"No. Sadly." Snowdrop huffed, slouching his shoulders. "I think I might have my eye on a certain apprentice, though. I'm not exactly sure." The tom shrugged. "I'll seriously need to consider one once newleaf returns."

“Her name is Thunderpaw. She’s a bit hard of hearing, and it pains me to see her get scolded each day by her mentor when she doesn’t listen to his directions correctly.” The words poured out of Snow’s mouth like a trickling stream. He felt oddly comfortable when speaking with Doefeather, and they just met him.

“She’s very small like that Fishpaw. Stout, but small.” Snowdrop said. “She’s very fluffy like you are. Sometimes I almost call her Cloudpaw instead of her actual prefix.”

He listened closely, nodding slowly as the medicine cat continued. To be honest, Doe'Feather was more focused on how pretty Snowdrop sounded than what he was actually saying but he caught the jist of it

[ "Maybe talk to her about it? See what she wants, before jumping to drastic measures or talking to your leader. She sounds like a good choice, in my opinion." ] The tip of his tail curled a little and he glanced over at Snowdrop'Leap, waiting patiently for a reply

“That, and have to go through her mentor.” Snowdrop groaned, rolling his eyes. “He’s a stubborn brute, that’s for sure. Most don’t even try to argue with him because of how bad his stubbornness is. But, it’s all about what Thunderpaw, and hopefully he’ll understand that. I’m sure Clementinestar will understand that.” The medicine cat nodded, though deep down, anxiety welled up inside of him. What if Clementinestar doesn’t agree, or that asshole doesn’t comply with his plans? Snowdropleap gulped, trying to compose his whirling thoughts by focusing his mind on other things. Like, Doefeather’s fur..

"Especially me," Snowdrop gulped. "I'd probably be demoted from my rank and shamed upon being seen sleeping with a cat from an entirely different Clan." The medicine cat murmured, straining his gaze to try and find some type of shelter they could settle down by.

"I suppose that hollow tree log over there would suffice." The big white tom gestured over to the log that was several tail-lengths away with his paw. "I guess I could sleep inside of the log, and you could stay outside of it. Or vice versa.. or we could both stay outside of it."

He hummed, looking over to where the other was gesturing to [ "That looks good. You can sleep inside, I don't mind keeping watch." ] He smiled, flashing his teeth as his tail curled
[ Are you sure you'll fit, though..? No offense, but you're a little.. tall." ] Doe fumbled, his fur puffing out as another gust of air hit them. His claws dug into the soft soil beneath them, keeping his eyes on the ground as he watched some moonlight shift over the damp grass

Snowdrop’s face heated up with embarrassment. He had forgotten how large he was. “Oh, yeah. That’s right,” The tom let out a sheepish chuckle. “Then I suppose I’ll have to sleep beside the log. That’s alright.” Snowdrop shrugged, beginning to head over in the direction where the log was. He hoped it wouldn’t get cold tonight.
