"Good to know." He replied, nearly tripping over the wet leaves that littered the path. Snowdropleap slowed his pace so he wouldn't injure himself-- because it'd be no good if the medicine cat turns into the patient. A low growl came from the tom as he unsheathed his claws, swiping at the leaves and watching as they sloppily fluttered up and then into the same place they were laying on before. The medicine cat hissed, giving up. He'd just have to be more careful.

He paused and glanced back, tilting his head before backing up and pressing his fur against Snowdrop'Leap's side, guiding him
[ "There.. now it'll be easier!" ] He purred, smiling up at the larger cat as he guided them boh towards the fallen tree, the rocks and river now coming more into view as moonlight shined on the ground

The medicine cat stiffened slightly when Doefeather pressed himself against his side, but he didn't object because it was just... unexpected. Snowdrop smiled nervously at him. "M-mhm!" The feline nodded, allowing a purr to resonate from deep inside his chest. The large white feline continued to purr, realizing that the tom's fur was as soft as it had looked.

Doe'Feather glanced up at the white tom, his ears flicking as purrs resounded through them. After a few moments, he began purring as well, puffing his fur out even more to warm the other cat up as they finally stepped into the clearing

He had always adored this particular clearing, the river was beautiful in the moonlight and it was perfect for stargazing

Snowdrop's bright yellow gaze gleamed with astonishment at the gorgeous landscape that laid out before them, his tail lifting and waving in the air. His lower jaw hung low. "Wow.." He breathed. "This place is wonderful," The medicine cat rasped, peeling away from Doefeather's extremely fluffy side and padding towards the river, so he could get a better view of the star-blotted night sky.

The tom's pure white fur glowed a pale silver in the moonlight. Snowdropleap beamed up at the stars, excitement welling up inside of him. They must've forgotten about their current objective: get moss.

He watched Snowdrop'Leap, his head tilted a little as he stared in awe. He probably looked like a moonstruck rabbit right now, but he honestly couldn't care less, he was more focused on the basically glowing beauty in front of him

Doe never had much experience in flirting, he yearned to say something but decided to not make a fool out of himself and settled for a mere compliment, nothing too bad..
[ "You look.. so pretty right now." ] His voice came out a lot smaller than he expected it to, and he shrunk into himself

Snowdrop was startled by Doefeather's sudden voice; he had been deeply engrossed by the twinkling stars and soothing sounds of the river water sloshing.

Doefeather's compliment caused the tom's fur to heat up, and his cheeks to flush. "T-thank you," Snowdropleap stammered, pausing to study Doefeather's features. He locked his gaze with the warrior's. "You look lovely as well." The medicine cat spoke, his voice barely above a meek whisper.

His fur puffed out at the comment, his paws trembling as he felt his pelt grow hot. He quickly looked away, conveniently landing his eyes on the mossy tree
[ "Moss- we're here for moss." ] Doe breathed out, quickly reminding the medicine cat. He struggled to keep eye contact with the other, he enjoyed it though, despite the goosebumps it led down his spine and how it caused his tail to twitch uneasily

Snowdropleap was flustered at that point, but nodded to the longhaired tom and dashed off in the direction of the mossy tree. The medicine cat could feel his heart pounding through his ears as he gulped.

Upon edging the tree, the big tom lowered himself to the ground and began gently clawing off heaps of moss, stopping when the growing pile was abundant enough. He rolled the moss into a large ball with care, knowing he'd have to flatten it out to make a nest.

Snowdropleap did his best to stay focused and not let his thoughts wander to Doefeather. He could be concerned about what happened later. For now, the current objective was to collect the needed moss and return to the hollowed-out tree trunk.

He watched Snowdrop before looking around and heading to another spot, a tall tree that had a large bundle of moss on the side. Slowly, he began to gently peel and collect the moss, holding it delicately in his paws

It was a little damp, but nothing some fur and warmth could get rid of. He rolled the bundle he had into a ball and clamped his jaws around it, turning back around to make his way towards the medicine cat

[ "Is this enough?" ] His voice was considerably muffled by the moss in his mouth, but he got it out regardless

The tom swiveled around to be face to face with Doefeather once more, glimpsing down at the balled up moss hanging from his jaws. The medicine cat gave the long-haired feline a deep nod, since he didn’t exactly feel like attempting to speak around the bundle of moss that was tightly clenched between his own jaws.

He nodded back, glancing at the river again before looking back in the direction of the fallen tree. He looked t Snowdrop'Leap and tilted his head, a question in his eyes as he jerked his head towards the forest

Doe's tail quivered as he waited for the cats response, sneaking a glance up at the sky, littered with beautiful stars and the moon

Giving the cat another nod, Snowdropleap began to trek back towards the fallen tree, exhaustion slowing his movements. The feline slowed down his movements as he crept down a few rocks, not wanting to nearly lose his footing like earlier.

Once he edge the hollowed-out trunk, he half-laid half-spat the bundle of moss onto the ground, using his two paws to flatten and make some sort of oval/nest-like shape. Peering over to the side, he half-smiled at Doefeather. “Beautiful night tonight, eh?”

He had followed Snowdrop and copied his ministrations, patting the moss he collected onto the moss the other collected, the nest growing bigger as he added to it. It seemed soft enough, and maybe big enough for the medicine cat

[ "Yeah.." ] He mumbled, distracted a little as he glanced up through the trees, his paws shook as he sat down beside the nest [ "Yeah. Yeah, it is a beautiful night tonight." ]

The tom sat back onto his haunches, lifting a paw to rub at his eyelids. “And the perfect time to fall asleep,” Snowdrop murmured, slouching his shoulders. Snowdropleap cast another glance at Doefeather, The medicine cat did his best to stifle a purr as he observed the smaller tom’s figure. Then, he thought of something. ’Why did he call me pretty earlier?’ Snowdrop questioned inwardly. ’Perhaps it was just a simple compliment. But.. a cat from a rivaling clan wouldn’t have just given me a simple compliment’.
