Akirl, the King of the Akirl Pride, found another pride seeking food, water, anything that could keep them on their legs. Instead of chasing the pride off he decided to let them stay for as long as they needed to. Pride with Pride they work together to not only make the new Pride, the Spotted Pride, feel more welcome, friendships were being made and enemies were being dealt with a whole lot easier with two Kings now around, but forces outside of the Akirl territory noticed this and didn't take kindly to it. "No two Prides should be working together! That's absurd!" "They're crazy. What if the other Pride tries to take over when the other Pride's guard is low?" And not only were mortals angry with the two prides decisions. Ancestors, angry ancestors, began plotting on the Prides' downfall. Not to kill them off, but to warm them that combining Prides wasn't allowed under the ancestors watch. Then a new presence made itself known... Rules: -The only rule is that this isn't a roleplay for anyone to join. Only friends of mine I've spoken to are allowed to be a part of this roleplay. When they got there val looked at lavinia and she was turning her eyyes and head in every direction. sometimes she bent her head so far back it touched her back. other times she spun it around from side to side a bit farther than she usually did. val instantly ttried not to look at her but it was somehow almost impossible. lavinia got a feww frightened looks from the others. 0 players like this post! Cocoa noticed the lions looking hesitant as she lead the lions towards the others. Akirl leapt in front of her and growled: "Who are these lions?" "I actually found them in the same situation as the Spotted Pride was in when we first found them." More seriously, she asked: "May they stay? Even with the Spotted Pride here the prey stash is plentiful and there's more than enough room." Akirl huffed, but seemed to understand. he finally nodded and said to the unknown lions: "Stay as long as you need to." He looked at the two and asked: "Is this it? Blizzard and Moon had been the ones to lead them into the place, yet Blizzard went back to her spot next to Cobra and Blazed Tail. Cobra glanced at her. "So what happened?" Valentine looked even more frightened then before, and Queen, a lioness she was speaking to a bit noticed this. She gave the cub a quick nudge for comfort then got up and went over to the new lions and greeted them. "Welcome! I hope you all are lucky enough to stay as long as you need to." Cocoas eyes widened, then they narrowed into slits. "Actually," She countered "Our generous King already let them stay, if you didn't hear." Queen flinched, then narrowed her eyes, also. "Well, I guess I didn't hear that. My apologies." She smiled at the new lions and said warmly: "Glad to have you here." And she turned and left. Akirl looked at Cocoa, then Queen, then Cocoa again and huffed, bowing his head at Cocoa and saying: "Show them where the prey stash is. They look starved." 0 players like this post! Like? |

Blizzard watched as Shining Rays attempted to comfort the young cub aswell with her soft voice. She didn't take a lot of interest in really mothering, but would love her own cubs all the same. It would be the only live family members she'd have since she was an adolescent. Blizzard smiled, knowing her cubs wouldn't have to grow up in the harsh, snowy mountains she'd dealt with as a cub with her whole pride and family. Her smiled became much smaller tho when she thought of the situation they were still in. No official home, no territory to call completely their own, them staying here based completely on Akirl's decisions. She shook her head, as she couldn't let this consume her thoughts aswell... 0 players like this post! Like? |

Cocoa brought the newcomers to the food stash, telling them the basics of the stash; how it was guarded by thorny bushes, how they shouldn't leave bones or any leftovers around the stash since it would make them aware that there's more food nearby, yada yada. She looked away and gave a small nod. "Yeah. All of them make me feel weak.." She huffed and sat up, asking: "Are the lions here strong? Like, have you watched them train?" Valentine fixed her crown a bit then nodded. "A lot better. Over there there was so much noise." She rolled onto her back and relaxed. "It's a lot better here." "I'd seen that you weren't comfortable, so I thought I'd help you out. No cub deserved to feel so weak in an area. No evil intentions here, I promise you." Her voice was soft and honest, a hint of being a little afraid that Valentine would not believe her. She hadn't failed with calming a cub in a while, so it would kinda hurt for it to fail now...
